Hanso vs. Mittlewerk

we know from the Lost experience, that Alvar Hanso along with the Degroots created the Dharma Initiative, to “do nothing less than save the world as we know it”; but was eventually usurped by his number one Thomas Werner Mittlewerk, who has “the virus and the will”.

this is a possible theory… and again…. if it’s been posted already, sorry:

Under Hanso and the Degroots the Initiative got off to a great start and was functioning as planned, when on the mainland, Mittlewerk began to plot against Hanso, ultimately leading to his imprisonment.

perhaps, part of Mittlewerks’ plan was to secretly land other people on the island (in the hostile costumes) and begin a war with the initiative.I would imagine Mittlewerks efforts would be in vain if any one from the origanal DI lived to tell about it, so he inlists Ben to complete the purge, through Richard; the same man who recruited Juliet under the business title Mittloes industries and who is ageless like Joop.

meaning the Hostiles were not “the original inhabitants of the island” but people working for Mittlewerk.

all of this begs the questions: Why did Mittlewerk usurp Hanso? perhaps the discovery of Jacob?

The big question we’ve been left with is: who faked the crash? widmore or Ben?

It must all go back to Hanso vs. Mittlewerk, but how.. hooowww?
