Right hello i am pretty new to this site and am also new to lost. I watched all of series 1-3 in a week and now i have caught up with series 4, hence the reason am at work i pulled a sickie lol, i have watched episodes over again to see if there is anything that i have missed i have defiantly got the lost fever.
I have posted a couple of theories before which all got slated there is some harsh members on this site. Anyway i don’t have a clue if this theory has been posted before but am going to say it anyway
When the losties crashed on the island locke was able to walk again, rose’s cancer went and jin’s was fertile. So if all this happened maybe when the plane crashed jack’s dad was already dead it brought him back to life. Feel free to comment or tell me anything i have missed Thanks

chirpey, I know you’re new to the site and welcome!
It appears you are very excited about Lost, as we all are. :) But, I might suggest that you slow down a bit. You’ve posted 6 theories in 4 days! That’s a huge amount.
First of all, use the Search feature before you post to see if your theory has been addressed before.
Secondly, I would advise you to read some of the Highest Rated and Most Interesting theories to get an idea of what a really good theory looks like. That would be a big help to you, I think.
Last, yes the subject of Christian being dead or alive has been theorized, commented on and on and on for quite a long time. I don’t claim to know the answer, but the writers have confirmed that he is indeed, dead.
ps: Lostpedia.com is also a great source of info on Lost, the more you can back up a theory, the better!

I have thought about this, too, Chirpey. We know the island has healing powers but can it raise the dead? Dunno. Maybe if Christian did get “waken up” maybe the reason he hasnt directly contacted Jack and the Losties is because Jacob or “the island” advised him not to so he could serve some purpose or something.
I am still on board with the theory that he got bitten by those scary spiders and was never really dead, even though I dont have any evidence to back that up. Cant wait till they start actually telling us stuff again! lol
Annie, dont listen to british_kev (even though I am sure that you are not). He tells you not to patronize people then calls you names. Whatever. I think you were giving friendly advice to chirpey as a new user. You are helping him (her?) make posts that people WONT patronize. I think - as long as chirpey doesnt take offense (which it is obvious he hasnt) then it should not be a concern of some other guy who wants to speak on somebody’s behalf.

BritishKev, all too often people will leave snarky comments on a “newbie” post that belittles or mocks, and I personally don’t care for it. But do you prefer someone like that over someone like Annie who at least tries to post something contructive? Annie was trying to be helpful.
Chirpey, I’ve wondered the same myself, and can’t say as I have a good answer. Christian has been speculated to be everything from a ghost to a manifestation of Smokey , to not really dead and just in a spider bite coma, to you name it. At this time, my own thinking on it (which is always changeable) is that maybe he is a pre-dead Christian. Now whether that’s due to some portal opening in time, or due to past Christian jumping Des style into future dead body (scary thought) , or something else, I don’t know.

Chirpey, I like your theory. I, personally, don’t think Christian is alive… although the stuff with Jack prescrip could suggest otherwise, so perhaps? Time loop theory would certainly work here.

In the most recent podcast, we are told that there are three story boards with the titles dead, alive and un-dead. Every character to be on the show is on one board. Only 3 are on the un-dead board, Kate’s horse, Eko’s brother (Yemi?) and Christian.

Welcome, I am also new to this site, and like you….came to lost late and watched it all within a week lol. That was half way through season 2 though so kudos to you for catching up so quick!
Im not sure about the Christian thing tbh, we just started watching from the beginning again to fill in the mid-season break and theres some interesting things I missed the first ten times. I recomend watching it all again to anyone :)

British_Kev: You did curse, you said “twat,” although I love cursing and find it funny when people think it’s wrong to curse, so I have no problem with what you said there.
Annie: Why would you think, for even a second, that there should be a standard format for the way theories are posted on this site? I think Chirpey did a great job with some issues I’ll mention in a second (see #4 below).
British_Kev: You can say what you want about Americans, but I’ll mention something they told us when I was about to get off the bus on Parris Island, the home of United States Marine Corps boot camp, on the day I entered the Corps. “Americans are lazy, fat, impatient, and think they deserve and should get everything. We’re here to protect that right.” Guess what Kev, we Americans do deserve that right and earned it when we took your fabled “best in the world” armed forces in 1776-1779 and wiped the floor with it using an army of untrained Patriots! We solidified it AGAIN in 1812! You can take your British attitude and check it at the door because we constantly come to your aid to save the day, WWI and WWII, just to name two of many. Everyone: If you can’t use correct punctuation, grammar, spelling, and syntax, keep your thoughts to yourself! It’s tough on the eyes of those reading and NOBODY is going to take a scientific theory seriously from someone who can’t organize and share them in proper English. Run-on sentences SUCK! Also, if you’re serious posters, have some pride in yourselves enough to at least make it APPEAR as though you’ve graduated third grade!

You are right Sham. I stayed out of the debate above because I am sick of all the bitching. But I have never read a post in which Annie was blatently rude. It was only constructive criticism meant to help out Chirpey. And if Chirpey doesn’t have a problem with it, why does everyone else?

Hi, chirpy,(cute name :) I think Christian is dead but somehow appeared on the island in the same way dead Yemi did. I think the Smoke Monster,Jacob or the island inhabit the bodies of dead people to communicate with the living. (I could be wrong though). Glad you didn’t take Annies constructive comments as an insult chirpy, because she would never insult anyone and loves to welcome all posters.
Unfortunately 1 or 2 posters didn’t have the self esteem to cope with other members disagreeing with their theories and ideas and have a little vendetta going under many fake names. Sorry it invaded your post.+1

Punisher, it is not a two way vendetta. Just because someone voices their opinion or defends a friend does not make for a two way vendetta. Maybe you should make one or two comments on this site regarding something other that this problem…maybe something about Lost? Thus far I have commented impartially. I do not make comments on lost because that is not my purpose for being here. When I see harassment I state so, and it does not matter who has harassed who. This feud has been a two-way street from the beginning, ever since the brat pack took control of this website and tried to claim it belonged to them. What you have experienced repeatedly has been rebellion, yet you do not notice anything beyond your own narrow view. I do not condone the antics of BritishKev and others with him, but I also do not condone the antics of your group who has brought much upon themselves.
Annie is indeed a nice person, but the defense you speak of came after BritishKev had already made apology. This should have been the end of the situation but some enjoy fighting far too much. No doubt ChuckG and Lockeko will soon be along to ensure the continuation of this debate as always. Or have they already been here after all?
