Somebody (Ben, Jacob?) has looked into the future and seen the Oceanic 6 alive and on the island so know that they can safely be sent off the island and that fate will make sure hat they will return, thereby revealing Widmore’s fake crash scenario.
Similarly Michael has been seen in the future on or near the isalnd, so once again fate will protect him until he reaches that point.
Some of the Others have been seen in the future, so can be sent off island with the confidence that they will return.
Whoever does the seeing does not reveal that they can see into the future but say that “The Island has work for you to do”.
“The Island has work for you to do”. Loke says that. So u think locke can see into the future? Im not so sure but it would kinda make sense, since he does see things sometimes in dreams, like echos plane for example. except that was the past, but its the same principle really so maybe he could see things from the future. I agree that someone can see into the future but i dont think its locke. i think its walt. Remember near the end of season 1 when he says something like “dont open it mr locke”. He is obviously referring to the hatch he has never seen, so maybe he had some kind of premonition or something and saw it then?? so if your right about someone seeing the oceanic 6, thens its probably walt imo.
