There hasn’t been much written about these two for a while. I thought it was time:)

Jacks initial plan in Season 1 was to set up camp in cavetown.He was trying to be practical and make the best out of a bad situation. Sawyer refused to leave the beach(said he was an optimist).

Now in Season 4 we have the optimistic Jack sitting on the beach waiting for rescue and Sawyer holing up in cavetown(othersville).

Jacks motto on the island is ‘live together die alone’ Sawyers’ life motto is ‘every man for himself’ Could these two men completely reverse their life philosophy before the season ends?. Will Jack take the ‘every man for himself’ path home while Sawyer stays behind with the ‘live together die alone’ philosophy?

    +1 for a good character observation. There is definitely a shift in Jack’s mentality this season, and Sawyer has changed a lot since season 1.

    i like sawyer better than jack now, and a little before. But season1 and most of 2 jacvk was my favorite b/c of this lb/c like who steals crap from dead bodies (or as hurley would say b-o-d-y-s)
