I was rewatchin episode 20 of season 3, the one where Locke goes to see Jacob…. And Ben said the funniest thing to see if you think that Jacob is someone who like to travel throw wormholes and space…. Ben told Locke to put the flashlight away…cos….Jacob hates Technology.
I thinks there are some theories going around involving The Others flying around throw holes in tthe time-space continuum. But we are to believe that Jacob is the lider of the others, and i think the main reason why the others kill all the DI was because the use of technology in a place of faith like the Island. Be saw also that Locke is the one who really understand the island as a living being. Also he acuse Ben of forgotting his mission and to live surronded of modern comodities and luxury. Be also know that Ben can no longer hear Jacob and had a tumor in a place where cancer does not exist. I think Ben is losing his purpose and that is why he got sick. Also Locke couldnt see Jacob until he killed his father ( He needed to put and end on old habits). Probably Locke will be the new leader of the Others. And one of the main themes on the show is the tension between faith and science. I think it will be more magic that science toward the end and that will disapoint a little bit to all of the science theorie fans.
