Just a quick list of some of the family relations discussed in theories here of late:

Let’s see… Jacob is Jack’s father, Christian. Or maybe not. He might be the baby Aaron, or Alvar Hanso, or any number of compromised individuals. No matter in the overall scheme of things. Jack suspected his father of having an affair with his wife, but lately it’s thought that she was having an affair with none other than Ben. Meanwhile, Ben had an affair with yet another woman who gave birth to Thomas, who then had an affair with Claire, who is actually Jack’s half-sister. Ben now has a fierce crush on Juliette (and has since before he lured her to the island), and has already killed one of her lovers (Goodwin) and she is afraid he’ll kill her current hearthrob, Jack, too, if she lets him hang with her. Jack doesn’t want to see Kate’s Aaron because he thinks it’s Sawyer’s kid, not knowing that in reality it’s his nephew.

Ben adopted Alex who is really the Frenchwoman’s daughter and not his daughter, but who knows maybe Jacob is the father. Now to spice things up, Claire has given birth to Thomas’ baby Aaron on the island, and survived, but Kate winds up with custody of the child back in LA in some future flash. Jack’s still in love with Kate, too, who is in love with Sawyer, whose ultimate destiny is not yet known, but he has links to Locke because Locke’s biological father conned Sawyer’s family out of lots of money and resulted in the destruction of Sawyer’s childhood.

You know for an island where pregnant women die before they can give birth, there sure is a lot of romancin’ goin on. Kind of makes Peyton Place look like Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.

So, maybe we should forget about all the supernatural wizardry and far-out pseudo-science, as well as the apocalyptic elements, and focus in on the fact that the Lost characters are really just prime candidates for a massive intervention by the combined forces of Nanny 911, Supernanny, Family Feud, and Oprah.
