this was probably the best episode ever… and NO, it has nothing to do with how wonderful Juliet was in each and every frame :)

one thing that’s driving me nuts…. BEN
what is going on with this man. What are his intentions? i just don’t trust anything he does. Is he really consumed with Juliet to the point that he would maybe plan having the 815 oceanic plane crash over the island. did you see the look on juliet and the psychiatrist lady’s faces after seeing the plane crash. Like maybe they expected this to be somehow related to ben being jealous… or just up to no good.
the psychiatrist lady referred to julliet as looking a lot like “Annie”. Does this mean that annie was around post purge? maybe even married to ben and somehow dieing off at some point.
plus, ben did not really seem interested in Juliet’s work over the whole baby birth experiment. He was only interested in holding hands with juliet and staring at her lovely neck.
i no longer think that ben is interested in solving a birthing crisis on the island. He wasn’t even concerned about the the two kids juliet mentioned during their dinner date, about their mom not being there. He wasn’t even interested in jack being a surgeon and fixing his tumor.
So, my theory is that ben is EVIL…. that’s it… not giving the guy any more chances of proving me wrong… what do you all think?

Although I share your infatuation with Juliet, I’m convinced that there is more to Ben than meets the eye. I think he is very worried about things not going his way because there is a higher authority instructing him, maybe Jacob, maybe not. I don’t think Ben is as selfish as he seems. -1
I think the psychologist was saying Juliet looked like Ben’s mom.
I guess coming from a womans point of view: I can see how Ben would be attracted to Juliet but he never really tried to “get with her”. Yes he had her over for dinner and he tried to hold her hand but that could be because Juliet looks like his mother (not Annie). He could be literally lonely and trying to reach out to someone.
Wouldnt you want to spend time alone with someone that looked so closely to a loved one that you lost? You dont necessarily want to hook up with them but keep them close, protected…
Im not saying Ben isnt evil but in a way I think he was trying to protect Juliet from Goodwin, protect her from getting hurt. Ben has some psychological issues obviously but I can count out that he has a “good” side.
The whole “Youre mine” comment almost makes me think he wants to keep her so he can clone her…have a “new Mom”…I dunno. Its probably a stretch but you never know. A lot of people on the island have Daddy issues and Ben clearly has Mommie issues.
