The plane crashes and all the passengers get a bigger dose of radiation than planned

A quick theory - I’m in the UK so I have to get it in now before I disappear between Thursday and Sunday.
Dharma are aware of the islands properties and propose an experiment. Get a plane to fly through the island’s “vortex, its passengers having already been exposed to cosmic radiation during the flight, and let’s observe what happens to them
Dharma are aware of the islands properties and propose an experiment. Get a plane to fly through the island’s “vortex, its passengers having already been exposed to cosmic radiation during the flight, and let’s observe what happens to them. Dharma members are on board and have their constants.
Christian is in Sydney to observe the passengers before, during and after the flight, but his body is “killed” while he is “time-shifting”. Jack, who is not supposed to be on the flight therefore ends up on it.
Unfortunately (or maybe as arranged by Mrs Hawking), as the plane is passing through Desmond doesn’t press the button, the plane crashes and all the passengers get a bigger dose of radiation than planned. Their consciousnesses are flung forward (going to the island) by various amounts.
When they awake they now have vague memories of having been on the island, but they do not know why.
Later when Desmond (him again, thank you Mrs Hawking) turns the failsafe key they all get dosed up again, especially Locke, Eko, Charlie and Desmond but not Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Jin, Sun and Sayid.
Now that it is possible to go back into the past and change things, the most unlikely things are possible. Locke doesn’t go to see his father, doesn’t get thrown out of the building, so can walk etc etc..
JacksEyes, no proof here. The plane itself is said to have protected the survivors from radiation upon entering the atmosphere of the the island. The only Losties vulnerable were the ones closest to the implosion: Des, Locke, Eko and Charlie.
