ok, i think we all kinda know that the people on the island are on a time loop, from reading other theories it seems the end of season 4 or a later season will be the start of series 1.

for instance ..borrowin some info from other peoples post ben cuts his arm on the way down to makin the island go back in time, and when we first see ben in season 1 his arm is cut… also when locke wakes from the crash he seems all to natural (again from other theory ) with his box of knives an his this is our destiny business.

key quote : mikali : ur not like the john locke i know

so say this is all on a loop, the one we saw at end of season 4 we know in the future for some odd reason locke is known as jeremy benton , so what if the loop has happened before everything we’ve seen an locke becomes known as…jacob

i havent really got any proof .. to quote that dharma guy ” dont let them touch each other” when seein the time travelling bunnies , maybe this is why jacob cant be seen, because he is locke from another time loop an if they met or touched something bad would happen

maybe the bad things that were hinted at when season 4 ended

i guess its abit off the rails an probably isnt true but it was something i thought .

so to summarize maybe in the crash locke was john , then when he was in charge of the others he was jeremy

but maybe before all this it had all happened before an he was jacob?

let me know ur thoughts =]

an remember u know as much as the rest of us so dont slate it.

When did Ben have a cut on his arm in season 1?

Actually, we don’t know any such thing. Some people theorise about the idea, but there’s no fact or indication that can prove it.

” and when we first see ben in season 1 his arm is cut”

The first time we see Ben is in Season 2, episode 14. Where he protests that his name is Henry Gale, caught in Rousseau’s net.

when locke wakes from the crash he seems all to natural (again from other theory ) with his box of knives an his this is our destiny business.

key quote : mikali : ur not like the john locke i know ”

He came round on the Island able to walk after being paralysed. As such, Locke was not even the John Locke he knew! (And the reason he had the knives was for the walkabout holiday he wanted to embark on.)

an remember u know as much as the rest of us so dont slate it.”

I know he was Jeremy Bentham, for one thing. And fundamentally you’re saying there’s a loop, but that Locke is Jacob. That’s not a loop at all. That, potentially, is Locke going back in time to a point long before the Oceanic 815 crash, potentially long before Dharma, where Locke would have to be on the Island to become this mythical, God-like, ethereal human force known as Jacob.

I’m tempted to say “stranger things have happened in Lost”… but I’m not so sure they have!

Ben isn’t even in season 1 and I don’t remember the Mikail quote.

There are some errors in your post (I don’t recall Ben having a cut in season 1…or even appearing in season 1). However, I’m a big proponent of the time loop theory. Anyone who re-watches episodes 1-3 after seeing seasons 3 and 4 really cannot deny that Locke knows exactly what is going on.

I believe AC said it best. Although the writers have left us with a few clues, possibly hinting at a time loop, it certainly has not been proven.

I didn’t realize this guy had always thought Ben was in season 1. Just goofy.
