Jin is alive
Regardless of whether or not you subscribe to the time warping theories, it is a fact that at least three years has passed since the 06 left the island. In these three years Jin will learn to speak english flawlessly and become a bigger asset to the survivors/others/widmore/ben/ or whoever is pulling the strings.
Also, Jin’s English has slowly been progressing. So why would the writers stop this now. I know this is not central to the storyline, but, i believe it follows a pattern of how certain characters progress throughout the show. 1. Charlie and his addictions 2. Jack and his lack of fait (he is now willing to go back to the islan) 3. Jin and his english 4. Sawyer and his selfishness (his selfless act of jumping out of the helicopter)
if you have more of these feel free to add on

I don’t think Jin is dead either.
WTF does this have to do with anything? Charlie progressed? and he is dead. Sorry dude.
Didn’t he get a DUI? Im leaning towards dead b/c of that but you never know
lol, lostmecrazy. the title of my post says NOT REALLY important. so to answer your question: nothing. BUT it does give more support to the Jin is alive theories. The writers are not going to have Jin go from NO english at all THEN to a few words THEN to a few sentences THEN nothing? this is a common tactic used in writing.
Also, Dizzy, do you really think that if Jack got a dui they would immediately kill him off?
loose, yes I do think they would kill off jack for a dui, they have killed off everybody who gets a dui.
see my latest theory then you’ll see why the writers would kill jin
