Most of the people have come to the conclusion that besides her father Sun also blames Jack for Jin’s death. I think it is Ben she blames besides her father.
After watching the finale a couple of times Jack really doesn’t do anything for Sun to blame him. I think that when Jeremy Benthem visited her he told her about Ben killing Keamy in the Orchid which caused the freighter to explode.. This is the reason I think Sun is trying to align with wittmore, not to get back to the island but to find Ben. Of course this would hinge on the fact that Jin is actually dead.

Totally agree.
good call.. I think most people base the assumption she blames jack on one of the last lines in the finale…. however as you pointed out, with “Jeremy Bentham” off the island and making visits he more than likely filled Sun in on what really happened +1
jack says in his final drugged up rant to kate in the finale, among other things, that sun blames him for jin’s death. -1
WRONG. Jack says it in the finale moron. - 1
moron is extremely harsh.
Can we try to remember that Jack often blames himself for everything so maybe he just thinks that Sun blames him. He’s constantly looking for sympathy.
It makes perfect sense that she blames Ben.
I agree. She definitely blames Ben and not Jack. Maybe she blamed Jack at first, but Locke’s visit definitely changed that. And who cares what Jack Said, Jack has become a tool.
HURLEY: I can’t believe he did it.
KATE: Who did what?
HURLEY: Locke. He moved the island.
JACK: No, he didn’t. <–- Tool
Jack’s blinded by his own need to “fix things’.
I still think Jin may be alive though. If Faraday is on the island then I see no reason that Jin can’t be also. I guess we will see in 2009. +1
Jack does kind of hint that Sun blames him for what happened in the finale coffin scene with Ben. I think it is because Jack made the call not to go back for Jin after the explosion.
If Jack really is the “other person” Sun blames, I will be disappointed… it was wrong of Jack to butt in like he did, but it’s not logical whatsoever to blame Jack for Jin’s death. He didn’t cause it. It does make some sense that Ben is the “other person” Sun blames, but, Widmore should be the “other person” as it was his boat the explosives were on. Thus, he is ultimately responsible for any casualties caused by the explosives. However, you could be right about Ben, except I think if she knows it was Widmore’s boat, she’s going to retaliate against him once their “common interest” is absolved.
There is a difference between who she “should” blame and who she “does” blame. You can say she “should” blame Ben because he is the one who killed Keamy setting off the dead man’s switch. But, Sun probably doesn’t even know that. All she remembers is her screaming “We have to go back for him”, and Jack screaming “Sun, It’s gone. He’s gone”.
I guess live together, die alone doesn’t always apply.
Interesting theory but i have to disagree. I think there are 3 more viable possibilities.
I agree that its Ben. But as the finale pointed out. You may think its Ben, the clues and context my point to Ben, but it may be someone else. Jack, John, and even Kate are possible. +1
Good theory, I think that Jack ALWAYS blames himself for everything and he himself feels guilty about not going back for Jin, however, it makes perfect sense that she would mainly blame Ben. If Jeremy Betham is visiting everyone, than he would most likely tell Sun what happened. I think Sun would trust Locke/Betham over Ben.
I am not quite sure about this theory. How does Sun even know it was Ben? I think she blames Jack. He does say this, by the way.
I want to know, first off why Locke felt it necessary at all to visit them. Why? He is leader now. Why would he need to go to them? I think he is trying to plead for them to return, because we all know: “They were never suppose to LEAVE.” Thoughts?
