Sorry if anyone has said this already but I looked and couldn’t find anything and really its more of an idea than a theory.
Having looked through some of the whispers transcripts, there is often a female and male voice in conversation about the losties. They sound rather like a married couple. I started thinking that maybe these particular voices could be the spirits of the Adam and Eve bodies that were found in the cave. The problem with this theory is that some of the whispers seem to speak in more more modern lingo saying stuff like “dude”, but then I started to think that maybe more bodies will be found on the island, and that will explain this. As I said earlier its more of an idea than a theory and its not based on much, I suppose the key is finding out who Adam and Eve actually were.

I think we pretty much know at this point that Adam and Eve are Amelia Earhart and her co-pilot, whose name escapes me.
This information comes to us via the producers who told us that there was a clue to A&E’s identities in the episode where Juliet comes to the island.
In that episode, the name of some airline can be seen in the background. That odd airline name is an anagram of “Earhart.”
The whispers are interesting and intriguing. I can see why your thoughts are drawn to them. However, the idea of a “marriage” between whisperers is completely unwarranted. They do seem to have some kind of affinity or long association, but marriage? Too much of a leap for me.

Hi thanks for the comments. I probably should have been clearer I meant that when reading the transcripts of the whispers it made me think of a married couple or at least a couple which then made me think of Adam and Eve, I didn’t mean that they definately had to be married. I probably was scraping the barrel a bit for this idea waiting for the new series.
