I recently watched the Economist for the umpteenth time since its premiere. I noticed that Sayid saw Naomi’s bracelet with the initials “R.G.” on them. I figured that this is either Naomi’s love or boss, since Sayid took ample time at examining it. Later on in the episode, Sayid also noticed a bracelet on the blonde woman’s wrist that greatly resembled the one on Naomi’s. I feel as though the connection is subtle yet could be very interesting. Is it possible that the Economist gave the wrist band to his employees or women he was involved with? I think this would give credibility to the idea that Abaddon and Naomi are working for a company independent from Mr. Wittmore, one in which she has achieved the status of “senior management”.
Also, although quite speculatory, I think that the G of RG may have a relation to Henry Gale, another man who supposedly came to the island. Hence, maybe Gale, Abaddon, Naomi, and the blonde woman have a connection with this Economist, who has an alterior motive than Ben and Wittmore.

It’s since been confirmed that the bracelet that Elsa was wearing was not the “R.G.” bracelet that Naomi wore. (The creators were just using the similar-looking bracelets to give a sense of unity in the Lost universe.)
From Lostpedia
In an interview, Damon Lindelof responded to the question raised in fan emails and theory pages about a perceived connnection between this bracelet and Elsa’s bracelet in “The Economist” by saying (in part), “There is no connective tissue. Sometimes a bracelet is just a bracelet.”
Ah I see. Thanks for that.
Not a bad idea, and note well, AngeloComet’s theory does not take away from your idea that RG and Henry Gale may be connected in some way.
Think of those billionaire adventurer Steve Fossett / Richard Branson types. Fossett himself was lost in hot air balloon. While being a billionaire does not necessarily mean that you are an economist, who knows.
