This is a new place to record your votes for the Debate Club. If you have voted on the other threads ,you do not need to vote again,as those votes already cast will be included. Only one vote per person will be counted!
This new post is for those of you that are already aware of the New Debate Club and have already participated,and to include those that are not. It is merely another place to cast your vote in the first of hopefully many more Debates. As some of you have already cast your votes on the: Is Jack Right To Trust Juliet? - Debate Club (For or Against) The votes that have been cast already have been counted,and will all be included in the Final Vote Tally. If there are still votes recorded on the other threads,rest assured that I will monitor them to be sure that all votes are counted.So if you wish to you may still record your vote on those posts. The first vote was cast on Monday April 28,2008, and the last vote that will be included must be in by Thursday May 1,2008 by 6:00am lost-theories time. This allows for the 72 hour voting period that was used in the rules making.
On a personal note, I kind of volunteered for this,and as I am just playing it by ear, any suggestions as to anything, I may have omitted are Welcome.
I also would like to say I think that this endeavor that Lojozz began has been a very welcome addition to this site and has turned out to be a very resounding success.
Remember: Voting will end 5/01/2008 Thursday 6:00am LT time. Any votes after that time will not be counted,so as to get the resultsbefore the airing of Episode 4.10” Something Nice Back Home.”The final votes will be posted Here.
I also would like to congratulate both Angelo Comet and Lojozz for the nice job they have done on presenting a case for and against a very difficult topic to determine.

Actually, I echo the thanks to Lojozz for coming up with this idea and working hard to see it done right. I reckon it’ll really come into its own after Season 4 ends and we’ve got all those months to fill. . .
And I also extend a hearty thanks to KSJ. You’ve been, and continue to be, a star.
Ok, this is good. But should I recast my vote here? I am sure you explained this, but I am still a little confused…I voted +1 for Lojozz on his original post. Are you keeping a hard copy of the votes somewhere, to keep them straight? I am glad you are taking this on, thank you!
SoLost, If you have recorded a vote(which you have) then that is the only one that will be counted. I think maybe I wll add that to the Intro though. Thanks.

Although I didn´t actually take part in the debate, I really enjoyed reading. My own opinion about the whole topic has changed while watching both argumentations. After all back and forth within Juliets behaviour she always acted in the favour of our beloved Losties, therefore I vote +1 for AC.

Yes, thanks, KSJ for creating this thread! I have already voted. This is just to remind you to check that voters are not new members created during the debate period. This comment is not meant as negative reflection on LJ and AC as I TRUST them both (the topic of the day) but really to detect trollish voting and to set this precedent for the future. Thanks :-)

Obscure, Thanks, and for that mention ,it actually was in part my reason for wanting a new post for votes,I have been checking each vote to verify their membership date.

This may have went right over my head. Are you casting a vote for yourself, to be counted ? I also have not voted as yet, and wonder should I exclude myself ?

KSJ - I was joking. Although I don’t recall this being an established rule, I figured neither Lojozz nor myself would be admitted to vote for ourselves. Or each other, for that matter. The Debaters don’t get a vote! So, yes, to be clear: My vote doesn’t count!
(My gratitude for those that have voted, and especially those that have voted for me - you perceptive, beautiful people!)
AC i figured that in all likelyhood both debaters would vote for themselves and thus cancal out each others votes rendering them pointless and not required.
