“That Island’s mine, Benjamin. It always was, and it will be again.”

I was comparing stills of Charles Widmore’s visage with those of Jacob from “The Man Behind the Curtain” and it occured to me that they seem to share several similarl facial features — imagine a bearded Widmore years after a successful hair plug procedure. These similar facial structures include the shape and slope of the forehead and nose, as well as the eye and eyebrow.
In addition to what I at least perceive as physical similarities between the he and Jacob, indeed Widmore claimed that he once possessed the island.
An important note: I am not necessarily suggesting that Jacob and Widmore are the same person; perhaps some explanation will emerge that will link the two in some fundamental mystical or scientific way.
Certainly, there have been many diverse theories on the subject of Jacob’s identity, and though tentative to contirbute more fodder to this somewhat tired debate, I felt compelled to share my observations with the group in the spirit of communal/peer review/analysis.
