I am stealing a lot of what I read on this site, AC’s site, Lostpedia, according to E’s blog (Longlivelocke.blogspot.com) and hours upon hours of watching the last episode. So I know the theory in parts have been stolen (and maybe even whole) but..I beleive Jack is time traveling in the future.
Look at this picture ( http://angelocomets-lost-place.blogspot.com/2008/04/analysis-49-shape-of-things-to-come.html) (scroll down to the picture).. To me, that looks like Jack.
Now look at this picture…this is the dead dock ( http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Image:Ray.jpg ).
Along with this we know the Freighter doesn’t find anything wrong with the doc (in so many words or less)..instead of thinking the doctor on the freighter is dead…could this be Jack?
I know 99 % of me, and 99% of you do/will not feel the same way..but I think the following things lead me here:
Jack has a cut on his back in the pilot, and is waking up in the jungle, not on the beach
Jacks dad in a mobisode tells vincent to wake up Jack, because he has work to do
Jack is getting sick….
Christian was seen in Jacobs cabin
The Doc on the freighter is not dead yet…(according to the Morse code deal)
We know that time traveling within your life is possible
We know in the future Jack will try to get back to the island (though the time frame we know it, he is not bald yet…and the time loop issue becomes an issue if future and past jack are in the same place)
Something very fishy is going on with jack now and this body…
I beleive his dad plays a bigger role in the island then we know
So that’s my stab in the dark as the first thing I post…again, this is a pretty far fetched theory, but..something odd with the picture and doc.
Also, i don’t think Jack is currently time travelling, but in the future he is.

My first thought when the guy on the phone said the Doc was fine was that he was talking about Jack. I definitely think unless they’re just lying, which is possible, about killing their doctor, they may be talking about a Jack-version on their boat because of Jack’s time-travelling. Of course I have nothing really to back up my theory.
The first link doesnt work

since the message from the freightor is transmitted through morse code, it could have been Sayid, Des, or Michael (er, Kevin) saying that the doctor was ‘fine’ to cover up his death, not knowing that the body had washed ashore.
Tonight’s episode showed that the guy with the slit throat really was Dr Ray after all.
um Jack is not the doctor on the freighter…do you watch lost?they showed that doc guy being killed but the time difference made it happen in a different order
