Well, I wouldn’t be too sure about that

When Sawyer asks Claire how she’s feeling, she says she is fine,”I live”, she assumes. However, Miles immediatelly adds a baffeling statement: “well, I wouldn’t be too sure about that”.
This comment could be ignored if it didn’t come from an amply proven psychic! I believe that, in a different way from Desmond’s, Miles can forsee the death of people, which, although evitable (Desmond and Charlie), is indefinately perseverant (when/if you are meant to die in the Island, you can run but you can’t truely escape from your fate). I think it is pretty safe to say that this brief statement of Miles a confirmation of Claire’s imminent death, possibly prorogued by Sawyer’s intervention, who seems to be protected by the Island.

I took Miles comment to mean that given their current predicament they would be lucky to live.
But yeah given that its Miles there could be more to it. Good spot.
I guess it could have been a premonition… but I took it to mean that Miles knows about the guys who are coming to attack them and he doesn’t like their odds of survival…
I agree with Lojozz. But good idea. +1
i thought miles was referring to the situation they are in too, but it could have a double meaning. it is miles after all, so maybe he has forseen something.
I also thought Miles was referring to the present dire situation but it could also have been a tongue in cheek shot at the fans who have been discussing her likely death since Aaron turned up in the future with Kate as his mommy.
RIght on!!
Watch Season 3 further instructions, when Locke goes on his dream quest, where Boone is pushing him around an airport in a wheel chair, Lockes, who can’t speak in the dream, points to Clair, Charlie, and Aaron, Boone says that Locked can’t help them…..yet……and as we know, Charlie is know dead…………and soon, I think………..so will Claire.
By the way, Claire thought Sawyer was Charlie when he saved her. This could go both ways, I know ( either that she was near death and thought she was going to see Charlie, or maybe she just mistook Sawyer because of his hair resemblace, along with an understandable fixation with Charlie since he died), but I don’t think meaningless coincidences are usual in this show.
