The thing that has been bugging me from 4x09 is when Locke, Ben etc are in the house under attack from Windmore’s security staff, and Ben tells Locke he must go to Jacobs cabin and find out what they must do next/find some answers. Ben implies Locke must go alone, but will take Hurley [who he says knows where the cabin is], as he [Ben] would not be going due to being under attack. Events change, once Smokie is let out everyone in the house is free to leave. Sawyer decides to leave and takes Claire with him, however Locke refuses to let Hurley go [pointing a gun at Sawyer, he has no choice], beside Hurley agrees to go with Locke and Ben. A bit before Locke pointing a gun aw Sawyer, Ben tells Sawyer that Hurley is needed to find the cabin and must go with them.

This is what has been bugging me. Now Ben was able to lead Locke to the cabin , and therefore knows where the cabin is. Saying that they need Hurley to lead them there is a lie. But why? My guess is this has something to do with Hurley seeing the cabin in a previous episode of season 4, and the eye staring at him through the window. Or it could have something to do with the numbers, because mention of them has been lacking in the show for a while now.

They are not yet at the cabin, Ben probably knows knows what direction to head but they need Hurley to find the exact location, thats how I took it anyway.

http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Cabin This gives a lot of info about the cabin. I guess that it must be able to change it’s location, given that Locke led them to the line of ash, but no cabin?

I agree with Lojozz.. but maybe Hurley is also important ‘cause he saw the cabin..

John cant find the cabin, and we have not seen Ben contact Jacob in awhile.

Jacob is hiding, moving around. But Hurley knows where.

Jacob is not someone you go and see. Jacob is summon who summons you to see him. It appears that Hurley is the chosen one being summoned at the moment, so to see Jacob they need Hurley with them.

Nicely put AC. I was trying to think how to say that, simple really. Apart from ‘Jacob is summon’!

AC & Lojozz, In other words then Jacob is the summoner ,that is summoning Hurley,John,& Ben to meet him, thus making them the summonee’s that are being summoned ! LOL

:))). I am anxiously awaiting that debate to begin.
