Just found out that the UK is airing the rest of season 4 over a week behind.

So after Thursday it’s goodbye until the end of this season.

I’m in UK, too. But I download and keep up with American air dates. I don’t think I could stand to know that an episode exists that I have to just hang around and wait for. . .

(I don’t consider this particularly criminal because I always buy the DVD once it is released and get to enjoy the show on a big screen!)

Gutted. Cheers for that, was expecting to see it this Sunday. As if 3 days wasn’t a big enough gap!!!

Mate, it’s airing on Sunday so it’s not that bad.

Atleast channel 4 doesn’t own the rights anymore, overwise it would be few weeks, rather than a few days behind.

I’ll be in Canada for the next few months anyway, and I’m pretty sure they air the same time as the US which is good.

I’ve got a question for the Sceptic Tanks on here - can you watch episodes on the ABC website in Canada or is it literally JUST in the states? It doesn’t allow us here in the England.

i never watch it on sky 1 anyway.

people can just download it or stream it cant they? thats what i do. there are loads of sites that have lost up within hours of it airing in the states.

JacksEyes I feel your pain I have the same problem with the new episodes of Doctor Who we are about 3 weeks behind and I know we can get them off line but I hate watching things on the computer and it just seems like a waste of DVD’s to burn just one episode.

….. JohnLockeLegend also a reverse problem here in the states there are a lot of things on the BBC websites that I can not access. I guess it is the networks trying to make there money on advertising :( by forcing us to wait to watch it on TV.

Wait…people in the states watch ‘Doctor Who’? How embarresing.

You guys have Lost, CSI, Heros and The Sopranos - the best we can come up with is a low budget drama series about a time-travelling shape-shifting doctor who get’s about in an old phone box. And that’s from a state funded channel like the BBC. You should see how rubbish our cable is.

JLL - are you sure its airing this Sunday, I can only find a listing that has the next episode on Sky1, Sunday May 4th.

    I hope you’re right.

Actualy, your right. I’ve just checked the Sky One website and the Radio Times - it DOES air the Sunday after (4th of May)!

That’s weird. I was expecting the same format as before the writers strike. They get it Thursday, us the coming Sunday.

I don’t know why it’s been changed. Sorry buddy.

trust me it is great. it has lost on the site before any other site, but you have to watch within hours of it being there. its great quality (divX) and you dont have to download - you can stream.

Sorry, but US sci-fi, action, comedies, and dramas are much better. The only shows the US blatantly stole from the UK were those damn reality game shows like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The Weakest Link, Survivor, and Big Brother. (Although I’m not 100% sure that Survivor and Big Brother came from the UK instead of some other European country)

Caveat: The pitch J.J. Abrams gave to ABC that sold them on the idea of Lost was Survivior - the drama series

I have to admit, I do enjoy the occasional “How Clean Is Your House” or “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” on BBCAmerica. My cousin and her family live in England, and they were included in some of the tapings for Bargain Hunt and Cash in the Attic, so when I flip across one of those, I will pause a moment to see if I can spot her in the crowd!
