my personal favorite is the 7 iron

I’m just finishing up watching all the episodes before this Thursday. I’m on 4-3 and came up with a couple more recurrences. I only find significance in this because they are in this season. Not really a theory, but can’t wait to see what all you think of it.
In s3e04 Desmond goes to Paulo for a golf club to make his lightning rod. Paulo tells him to take the 5 iron, he never uses it. In s4e03 (3-4 vs 4-3, just me - too much) Sayid is on the golf course and betting Mr. Avellino for closest to the pin Mr Avellino insists the 5 iron is the club to use. (my personal favorite is the 7 iron) Mr Avellino wins even under the presure of knowing who Sayid is and gets shot, but what of the 5 iron?
The Other was in s4e2 where Miles is found and says: “Then why’d Naomi use the damn code? Yeah, you remember when she said tell my sister I love her, well she doesn’t have a sister. That’s what we’re supposed to say if we get captured, have a gun to our heads. Like right now, Jack here would say tell my sister I love her, you get it?” Before, in s3e13 Ben to Locke: “No, John, unfortunately we don’t have a code for “There’s a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter’s head.” Although we obviously should.”
Personally, I think one of the writers is hooked on the 5 iron (would love to play him 18 holes) and the freighties are way more prepared than the others.
Any thoughts anyone?
forgot one…. Ben took Alex as his daughter, now has Aaron in the real world. (See my other theory, Ben runs the O6) Alex and Aaron were both born on the island.
Also, the 6 of clubs, for some reason. When Daniel is trying to exercise his memory with Charlotte and the deck of cards, the one that he gets wrong turns out to be the 6 of clubs. Also, when Kate walks into Aaron’s bedroom at the end of Eggtown, you can see a painting of a person riding a bicycle and tucked into that painting is a card from a deck and guess what that card is? The 6 of clubs. Dont have a clue why, just another recurrence.
