It’s my mess

— RealSayyid

Previously it has been noted that Jack has been transformed when he tried to kill Locke and only gun failure saved Locke.

Hurley has been transformed by his famous hippiebus trip to the beach when he hit the other with it. He started to behave more deliberately more aggressively.

Lock was definitely transformed by his father’s death.

Remarkable scene in Confirmed Dead: He says “It’s my mess” when Sawyer offers to whack Ben. Allusions to the brig scene.

I don’t think they’ve been ‘transformed’ in any way - they’ve just had natural changes in mood/attitude/outlook, like anyone else would experience.

What’s your point anyway, how does this tie into a theory? If they are ‘transforming’, as you suggest, why?

Elaborate big man, convince us it’s important. The few posts I’ve made are really just muses on what’s going on, but atleast I attempt incorporate my own ideas around them however crazy they might sound.

So, Locke’s father dying and him being ‘transformed’ after. If a man that professed to be my father, stole my kidney, put me in a wheel chair and tried to steal my money, I to would be different after his death.

How’s that unusual? How does that play into your wider theory of what’s happening?

I’m not being patronising, just interested, and if you do raise questions rather than just list general random points about the show, people will stop giving you minus ones without even commenting, which I think is unfair.

I am also giving -1 because this seems to have no point. Of course these people have changed since big things have been happening in their lives. All of the Losties have changed dramatically since their arrival on the island. But that seems obvious to me and not worth too much analyzing. Sorry.

…But maybe his point about Hurley is worth speculating about.

After all, I know I wasn’t the only one who noticed Hurley seeming to a bit sinister when he met up with Sun to go to Jin’s grave. Something seems to be up with him….maybe?
