Locke finds out where Jacob’s cabin is; life on the freighter becomes dangerous”

— Joe

I read the following on DarkUFO’s Spoiler section:

Locke finds out where Jacob’s cabin is; life on the freighter becomes dangerous”

Could this in any way be related to the title of the episode? Cabin Fever? Captain Gault mentioned his crew suffering from Cabin Fever. Maybe Jacob has something to do with people getting “sick” such as Regina.

Well Cabin Fever is an actual illness not related to cabins like the one that Jacob has.

cabin fever From: The Oxford Pocket Dictionary of Current English | Date: 2008

cab·in fe·ver • n. inf. irritability, listlessness, and similar symptoms resulting from long confinement or isolation indoors. It is commonly experienced by sailors as a result of being confined to very close quarters.

So no not related to Jacob BUT then again Regina and the others seem to be suffering from something more than cabin fever.

Check out the song STIR CRAZY

    it’s really good!

Stir Crazy is another word for cabin fever.

It’s a play of words like some of the epizode titles (e.g. Through the looking glass). Cabin Fever refer both to disease and actual cabin. The relationship could be just that - play of words without any meaning.

Fever in the second meaning could be desperate attempts to get to the Cabin by Ben or any number of other things.
