First of all hello everyone ,i have not posted anything in awhile ,being overseas internet conection can be bad…… But let me get back to Sarah.. She has been in car crash that had involved Shanon’s dad ,also she had met a doctor Jack that she mad a such a huge impact on him…
Untill Jack had met Sarah he was very professional ,never gave any falso hope to a patient told them what he thought that was diagnose,.but when he met Sarah and even he know that her injury was bad he told her “I am Gonna fix you”That is the moment when Jack has changed into a Mr. “I have to Fix everything all the time”,Jack that we know on the island…Which also led him meeting Desmond on stadion ,after this meeting Jack finds out Sarah “has been fixed”.I think island had to do something with this miracle.Jack married her ,which led to them falling appart which we have not seen yet excatly why,but i am sure we will… Also Jack become opssesed with her ,he even thougght she was in relationship with his father,this led him and his father falling apart,All this events brought jack to island,,, I was watching one of deleted scenes Jack is on the playground saving i a little girl that has chocked on a piece of food while climbing, of course this is at Sarah’s work place, Little girl tells him”Don’t trust her Jack” I think that scene was cut out so they would not gave us clue about Sarah being involved with Dharma,Others or whoever had anything to do with this conspiracy. Also Sarah crashed into Shanon’s dad and he died ,this also led Boons mom not giving any money to Shanons ,and her beeing on her own ,wondering around a world with man that could “take care of her” at the time,and Boone running to to save her ,and of course thats how they end up on the flight 815… I could be wrong but go ahead tell me what you think

Sarah is definitely part of the syncronicity that led to people being on Flight 815
It all makes sense but who is the one orchestrating these events, surely Sarah did not plan her accident? But it does seem that events have played to bring Jack to the island. The marriage broke down because Sarah had begun seeing some new guy. Whether these events are the random events that occur in a person’s life or whether they were orchestrated by some other is the key question.

Maybe I am wrong but it appears Jack was too involved with his work and his need to fix things. And not enough time for his Sarah and his private life.I could be wrong though!

I agree some events look like they are more planned than accidental, Juliette and that Bus. But if the others are orchestrating this then how did they know Sarah would not die. Is she like Michael, that is she could not die?
During the episode The Hunting Party we were shown flashbacks to Jack’s absolute devotion to his work at the neglect of his homelife. This had resulted in Sarah believing she may have been pregnant. She eventually found out she wasn’t, but did all this without ever mentioning anything to Jack. At this point, it is clear the lines of communication between her and Jack had collapsed. Their marriage was over. (And it was no doubt during this period of vulnerability where she met this new guy she cheated on Jack with.)

AC that is what I too thought man, but maybe helen is right and that there is more to Sarah’s new relationship than we have been told. It is an interesting theory, makes me think about something I took 4 granted.
Perhaps Sarah wasn’t actually saved by Jack, maybe she would have healed regardless. Because she CANT DIE….
Can the Island’s healing properties be transfered/used in the real world??? Could there have been a island visitor at the hospital, that “helped” in the healing/miracle?

Island Sarah can visit me any day. Though I think we have stumbled on some clue … that the ‘island’ wont let certain people die while they have work to do. I think Hurley’s weight causing the balcony to crash killing others BUT not himself? And Locke falling 8 floors but not dying? Maybe there are other examples. This is something that I had never thought of before.

i like some of the things being said here but do have a couple of comments. i think jack’s fixing of sarah doesn’t lead to him becoming mr. fix-it. i think it gives jack an ego that becomes a problem for him to deal with (the surgery that leads to him and sarah divorcing is another extreme surgery that jack feels that he can fix). jack has always watched out for others and tried to do what’s best for them since an early age (getting beat up by the kids) but he doesn’t have any bed side manner (as hurley says it sucks). so when he goes to talk to sarah he sees something in her that makes his heart kind of skip a beat and can’t allow himself to tell her the truth. so he tells her the first thing that comes out which is “i’m going to fix you” which i think he instantly regrets cause as a doctor you shouldn’t make such promises for intense injuries. i also think that he marries sarah because he thinks loves her but in all honesty she represents everything jack stands for and he needs to keep that close. i’m not sure if jack has a real concept of love until he meets kate.
I just wanna get back on this for a bit ,island does not let die certain people… But did you guys ever think of this:Michael gets back to the New york ,he lost Walt couse he told him the truth of what he had to do to get him back.Micheal has no reason to leave he goes to the pawn shop gets a gun ,instead of money he gives a watch that he got from Jin(watch that Jin was taking from Soul to the La)i think there is like a some tracking gps system inside of watch and thats how others knew where micheal excatly was.And maybe gun he bought was not “working right”,maybe thats how island didnot let him die …he has work to do…
