Christian calls Ana Lucia, Sarah

— MidnightDraven

People have tried to transcribe the whispers, though I don’t agree on everything that is said something is certain. The line “Sarah is somebody coming” appears more than once.

S2, Ep 20. Ana Lucia and Christian Sheppard meet in Sydney, and give each other names. Christian calls Ana, Sarah. Ana calls Christian Tom. Now, people believe that one of the voices is that of Christian Sheppard, if this is true, and we assume the whispers are of dead people, Christian is talking to Sarah, not Sarah jack’s ex-wife, but the person he knows as Sarah and who is dead = Ana Lucia!

I don’t fully understand the whispers, but this is something to consider.

Hm, yeah that is interesting. One thing that’s been noticed with the whispers is that they are frequently words that have been said post-island between some characters. Not all of the whispers, but a good number of them.

thats really interesting, i never thought of it like that before. i always assumed he was talking to sarah (jacks wife), but it makes way more sense that he was talking to ana lucia +1

Wow that’s really interesting. I must have bad hearing because I always try to understand the whispers but can’t make out a single word. Does anyone have this posted anywhere where I can try to listen to it?

Here’s something interesting about the whispers. http://lost-tv.tribe.net/thread/c206db35-aafd-4680-92ee-b0b6d956ff5e

Could they actually not have intended the whispers to be anything but a mood setter?

ChloZo try darkufo.com, they often have whisper transcripts, or google lost whispers, im sure theres a dedicated site for it.

akumatat, i believe originally there was no meaning to the whispers, but maybe as the show got on, and fans were listening to try and find things, the writers thought it would be interesting to put stuff in that were actually related to what was going on.

Sorry akumatat, but that article you sourced is a copy of the original here. It was an April Fool’s Day joke by the bloggers at Lostpedia.com.

More information on the whispers, whisper transcripts and comments from the writers and production crew can be found on thefuselage webste here.

I’m not trying to pick sides. My personal opinion is that the whispers are important because of when they occur and, ultimately, what causes them. What the whispers actually say, I believe, is less important mostly because identifying audible words and phrases is extremely subjective. Their content may be more of an easter egg for those willing and dedicated to decypher them.

Billy_G_Oat, I have been wondering about something, that you do on your posts. How do you for instance on : “the writers and production crew can be found on thefuselage webste here.” Only the word here is shown, and the rest of the address shows up on the status bar hidden, till you run your mouse over it ?
