Hi to all Lost-Theories users!
My name is Alan Forbes i have been asked by my good friend and owner of this site to be his eyes on the site.
Due to other commitments Jeff is unable to visit the site daily and so i will now be doing that.
I am able to remove posts,block users and ensure the site is safe for all users. As you may all be aware several offensive posts have appeared on the site recently and Jeff has decided this is unfair and just not acceptable.
We are now able to remove posts within seconds and will report to the police any threats made towards members.
I will visit the site twice daily and aim to answer all emails
But i would like your help in doing this,please post complaints on this thread and i will investigate for you. Also any other issues you feel we should be aware of.
I understand you may be unsure if this is genuine i can assure you it is and as such offer you my personal email

I would suggest everyone flag this as trollish, if Mr. Forbes is the new czar/moderator, it can be moved out of the trollish category without a problem… no offense — but calling “modlosttheories@yahoo.co.uk ” a personal email address is a little funny…

Actually it’s possible for users to move threads from the trollish section. For those who don’t know how to do it I won’t go into to it here so the trolls don’t gain any more tools. Instead I’d ask that my specific post be deleted. There’s no way for a poster to edit a comment they make once it hits the board. If this is legit there shouldn’t be any problem deleting this comment from the thread.

actually not, if you were the real moderator you could delete this theory, or even specific comments, but you can’t—that means you’re a troll.
