I have been enjoying some of the fun poll-type posts while we wait for new episodes. Thank you to everyone for some light hearted fun!
My poll is: Who would you put in the coffin? Not who do you think is in the coffin but who would you kill off the show? Maybe someone really irritates you or maybe you are just sick of Juliette’s smug smile -so who would you chose to kill off the show?
I would love to be rid of Juliette, it seems to me her character has hit a brick wall and has lost her importance. Plus, I do not like her relationship with Jack (I am a Jack-Kate lover). I think her death would be much more interesting to the show than her constant wavering between Jack and Ben.
So now tell me who you would kill off…

Either Miles or Charlotte.
Miles for being very arrogant and uninteresting, and Charlotte for being so irritating as to almost take the irritating crown off of a certain miss Shannon.
And cheereyes, I have to disagree, I think Juliette would be right near the bottom of my list of characters to kill off, I find her character very interesting, and intriguing. I’m still not quite sure which side she’s really on.

Juliette for sure. She is just annoying she can’t decide which side to be on. Her flashbacks depict her as an average non-violent doctor/scientist. Now she has superhuman strenght, along with all the others, master at manipluation, weaponery and hand to hand combat. Willing to kill anyone if the mood stikes her. How does this happen over a time span of a few days.
I disagree with those who want to kill Juliet. She offers insights into Ben and the Others in a way we didn’t have before. And not really knowing which side she’s on makes her character even more intriguing. Michael on the other hand NEEDS to be killed. His self-serving attitude and willingness to kill and betray those around him makes him worthy of a slow death. Beyond him I think Locke is probably my most disliked character but we couldn’t kill him off without ruining the show, so instead I’ll kill off Claire.
Now that Aaron is here she no longer serves any purpose (other than being cute and sweet compared to Locke’s harsh and manipulative personality.) Sorry Claire but you’re just not adding enough to the show to warrant a continued existence. (Although as I write this I am struck by the idea that she would be the perfect mole. I’ve never even considered that she could be the often mentioned “mole”. How wild would that be to learn that there was much more to her relationship with Christian than we ever knew and that she became part of Dharma and is secretly working the people on the freighter? Hey I think I like this idea!! It could explain why she doesn’t leave the island. … ok after reconsidering I’m keeping Claire alive just for the possibility that she could provide one hell of a surprise ending. So other than Michael I don’t think I’d kill off anyone right now (maybe Alex but let’s see where they take her little adventure with the gunmen first. )
I totally agree that Juliet is a good character. I also agree that Claire is not, but she’s not hurting anything either.
But Locke? I can’t stand him this season as a person, but as a character I think he’s great.
Michael’s death would be fine with me, but I would really like to see Miles go. He’s annoying and his character concept is corny. He’s a ghost-busting psychic medium? Come on, LOST, you’re better than that… And if they do decide to write him out, I really hope that they don’t give him a send-off episode like they did with Nikki and Paulo.
He hasn’t been around that long ,but I would have to say Keamybefore he kills everyone else !!

Amen on the smug smile…. as you can tell from my user name, I would not care how juliet goes, she just needs to go. actually, as I have said before, I think and hope she gets stuck w/Ben on the island forever.
