Now i can’t end this theory very well as i haven’t yet finished watching season 3 or seen season 4 it is also not very well thought though but a theory none the less.

Now as we know the makers of the show have already debunked the suggestion that they are in fact dead and are in limbo so.

What if they are all the survivors of Flight 815 are infact in coma’s in hospitals and all the other people on the plane are actually dead but except from the ones in the show who are infact as before in coma’s

What if just what if some of the castaway’s wishes (John wanting to walk, Ecko wanting to find is brother) and personal memories are being played out on this island, for example John’s father being on the island, Mr.Echo’s Brother being found on the island in the plane.

Now in series 3 episode 18 the downed helicopter survivor told Hurley that no-one had survived from Flight 815, also in the same series episode 16 we clearly see the plane on the beach and almost fully intact.
