IKnowWalt has posted something about the guy while Sun is giving birth , i tried to post this as acomment but it didn’t work so here it goes ..

am not really sure if this is true,but if its ! that’s really incredible,imean what is this guy one of the oceanic six? i doubt it .. but how come he’s there… is it a production error .. i dont know you find out and let me know , enjoy

LOL. it took me most of a day to find something to prove my theory, and i just posted it as an edit on my theory, and lo and behold, it is the same thing you found. Perhaps not, but part of me wants, and perhaps needs to believe that the show I have invested the last 4 years watching (and yes, it is the only show I watch) takes the time and effort to ensure that they don’t accidentally put random extras in different scenes in different parts of the world, at different times, when it seems they spend so much time and effort to give us rediculously difficult to find clues each episode. Maybe it was just a goof, but the fact is….. I have to wait 3 more weeks until Lost comes back on, and finding this stuff is the only thing keeping me going.

+1 for finding this. it is interesting, but I’m gonna have to say its nothing. They reuse sets when it doesn’t mean anything. They could reuse extras too.
