I love a good bit of gossip
Just been on darkufo and in the rumours section there is a piece stating that in 4.09 “jack tries to uncover the identity of the body washed ashore” My theory is that its Regina who jumped overboard on the freighter
If im correct then that must mean that it is possibe for the freighter to get ashore if Regina managed it and it must be easier than we have been led to believe so far
What are the chances of Reginas body drifting ashore on the exact bearing needed to reach the island? Slim i would say so maybe it is easier for the freigher people to get to the island than we thought!!!
The main question here if the above is true why are they claiming its harder to reach the island than it actually is?/

Perhaps the island is keeping her alive….or the magnetism pulled the chains to the island???? Who knows if it’s even true
They do not have the engine working yet. Second, Minkowski and the other guy who went with him on a boat end up dead. Not everybody has such a solid constant as Penny, such good friends as Sayyid and such good luck with connecting with the only scientists in the world who knows what’s going on, namely Dan Faraday.
So they are dead and nobody wants to repeat their fate.
Goldfish- That is a pretty cool idea you have there ‘bout the magnetism pulling her body towards the island. I like it.
Those chains would have weighted down the body and kept her underwater. Keep up the hunt though.

I too like Goldfish’s idea that the magnetism drew her in, that is, if Regina will be the body that Jack finds.
Another thought is that, while under water, the ability to get to the island is increased. Think of this, the portal that allows people to get on/off the island is bigger under water. This might be why Ben and Dharma used a submarine to get people to the island.
I also remember seeing a picture in a theory that the island was in a snow-globe under the ocean. It explained how the plane broke up in the air the same as it would under water, comparing it to the Titanic and how it broke apart as it sank. Not my theory, but it there might be a link in here somewhere.
I doubt highly that it is Regina (and this “spoiler” has been out for about two weeks now — it is the official blurb from ABC on the episode).
I see a few possibilities… there’s Regina of course (and good point about the chains. ) But what about Kelvin Inman? His body disappeared, was he even dead for certain? Is it certain Naomi was alone in the helicopter? After all, she parachuted onto the island and the helicopter crashed at sea. Autopilot or another person? Likely they kept Minkowski and the other guys bodies in the freezer, but who knows? We also don’t know what regina might have been up to before she killed herself, there might be a missing crewman on the freighter.
Or it could be one of the tailies that didnt make it and Eko didnt manage to pull out of the sea?
