“Constant” will become a meme exceeding boundaries of Lost fandom.

“The Constant” is immensely popular and highly rated. Everybody is raving.
One of the emotional/scifi/metaphysical epitomes of it was, well… , the notion of “constant” - something or somebody that will stay with you all years, that “will never let you down” (sorry for Rickroll ref, could not help).
Many people are already using it in various situations, referring to best friends, wives and husbands.
I predict that this phenomenon grow, and people over the internet will use it as a “meme”.

LOL Yes, my dogs are my constants. They’re constantly following me, constantly begging for whatever I’m eating, constantly asking me to play ball, constantly tattling on every odd noise the house makes, etc.
Imagine a Hallmark card with Penny and Desmond on it that says “Will you be…” then you open it “My constant”…
So sad
RealSayyid, this one is certainly a possibility! I, too, have started referring to my pets as my constants. :)

…the “yadda yadda yadda” of LOST
RS, Definitely a good catch phrase! It is better than some I have heard! +1
I already used it in a card to my husband.
I’m taking algebra right now and learned what a constant was and it made “The Constant” make even more sense.
