Why 3.2
Ben has $3.2 million in the room (where Lock “left” Hurley to fool beachies+freighties).
Episode: “Economist”.
Miles made some “smelling” thing with his eyes similar to what he did on that dead black dude’s flat in his flashback. That happened in the scene when they were interrogating Hurley. Miles has definitely “aha!” moment in his eyes. Watch it. That’s the place Ben keeps $3.2M
i don’t see the smelling eye thing that you’re talking about, but i do like your idea that he knows that ben has exactly that much money handy.
when ben asks ” why 3.2 not 3.3 or 3.4?” miles just stares at ben and they share a knowing moment.
we know that miles has certain psychic abilities like communicating with dead people and telling michael that his name is not kevin. +1
No-no-no. Smelling moment was in “Economist”. In the room where they interrogate Hurley. Miles turns away and does “aha!” style rolling his eyes left and right, like he has something on his mind that is related to that room.
I’ll take another look at the Economist and check for the ‘smelly moment’ of aha and rolling his eyes. I’ll let you know.

i know what moment you are speaking of, but i think the eye thing was because hurley was commenting on the bad intentions of the freighies and he was processing that. anyways they weren’t even in ben’s house. why they chose to search that house first, i don’t know.
i still agree with you about your theory in general though.

I just went and watched the scene with Miles…ok- I watched it about a dozen times-and all I saw was him doing the back and forth movement with his eyes. I didn’t see the distinct “Aha” that you mention.
While I agree he wasn’t really concentrating on the story Hurley was giving, I don’t believe Miles had this epiphany of where a stash of cash is located.
