Series 1 Pilot says they had back to Fiji, But was 1,000 miles of course
Series 1 Rosseeau says the sailed from tiahiti for 3 days
Series 3 Ben says there are 3 Islands
Looking on goggle earth exactly 1000 miles from fiji there lies tiahiti southeast from this spot, This Spot has 3 islands, The 3 island from A, B & C are a triangle. Is there any more you need to know Ah the corodinates are 10’ 50 52.63 S 165‘50 20.43 W
I don’t think in the fictional realm of lost, we have to find the actual islands that the Lost island is representative or, IMHO.
A suprising similar theory the other day:

It’s entirely possible that you’re completely right, but the reason people haven’t agreed with you is that they belive the island to be “fictional”. That’s not to say it’s location isn’t inspired from some real life island’s actual location. I’m simply saying that the island wouldn’t show up on Google. Something tells me Widmore knows how to use Google maps and would have found the island much sooner.
I’m not trying to be sarcastic or difficult. I suggest that instead of reposting your theory, you offer more precise evidence of your theory, ie Episode names and quotes. That might convince more people to follow your lead.
Again! Someone posts this information again!
“Series 3 Ben says there are 3 Islands ”
Where? When? I want the episode and I want the scene. This piece of information just keeps cropping up as ‘fact’ seemingly out of nowhere. Am I totally missing something?
Whoever finds me this third island is REALLY gonna blow my mind.
I know where the third & fourth islands are, but I don’t really feel like talking about it right now…..sigh
Bravo, Lockeko!! I agree - it is a fictional island, not necessarily one that you are going to find on a real map. I dont understand why it is so important to know where the island is anyway. It doesnt matter. I mean, what are you gonna do? Go rescue the islanders yourself? Fly there and see if you can cure your cancer? What is the fascination with trying to associate a fictional island with a real island?
AND also, I agree with AC - where exactly is it stated that there are three islands???
Wasnt it in the episode when Sawyer and Ben climb to the top of the hill, make the “Of Mice and Men” references and all the weird stuff with the numbered rabbits? Ben mentions to Sawyer that there are multiple islands…cant remember the episode name but Im pretty sure that that was the episode when they made reference to “multiple islands”.
