Hey,I’m new to the sight but just thought I would share a theory that I have been wondering about since ‘Meet Kevin Johnson’ was aired.
The preview for the next epiosde (which can’t come soon enough) shows the barracks being stormed by an unknown group.I have read a number of theories on this site suggesting who this group actually is,but I believe most fans agree is it most likely the same group who shot Karl and Rousseau.Keamy and co seem to have left the freighter at some point and are the main suspects, but in my opinion they are not who ‘storm’ the barracks.I don’t believe this because
a) I don’t believe Frank would pilot a mission to kill the losties (although he may have been tricked into it)
b) Only 4 of the crew would be invloved in the attack (unless you include the Doctor) and again i doubt Frank would be involved in this, leaving only 3.
Therefore I believe that it is infact another group, possibly the remaining members of the others.Maybe they are trying to ‘spring’ Ben and bring him back to their camp,he is their leader afterall.I realise that it could be said the others don’t want/need Ben back,or that they lack the power to create such an attack, but they are a group who have shown great intelligence/power/control so far in LOST.Anyway thats my thoughts on the situation, let me know what you think, thanks.

good points. I guess we’ll have to wait and see who the new group is
could it be another group already on the island, the ones who tread barefoot through the jungle with kids who like teddy bears
Welcome to the site, guv! A lot of people think there is a third group involved off island. Could be, we’ll have to wait and see.
Good question!
I’m really liking the idea its the barefoot jungle walkers
could be a third group, but i still think it is keamy and co. maybe frank isnt as innocent as we think, or maybe he is unaware of why he is flying these people to the island.
i do agree that only 3 members doesnt seem like enough. perhaps he made more than one trip to a from the island?
anyway, i could be wrong, we’ll have to wait til the 24th.
Hey GUV, I agree that this group is not actually Keamy and Co. I don’t think they are equipped to storm Locke’s camp and put terror into their hearts. These guys are fighters. Plus, I agree that Frank doesn’t want to kill a bunch of people.
(possible spoiler regarding previews and trailers) I also don’t believe it is the remaining Others. If it were the Others, trying to bust Ben out, I don’t think Ben would be helping Locke and Co. barricade the doors as they’re getting attacked and I don’t think they would be setting houses on fire. I don’t think it is the barefoot teddy bear carrying jungle people either. These people were the Others and those kids were Zack and Emma, kidnapped from the tail section on the first night. The Others were trying to portray themselves as a different kind of group. We didn’t even know that the Others were civilized until TOTC aired to start season 3.
I think these soldiers could be working for one of two groups: the U.S. Military or Paik Industries. Either of these groups could have tailed Widmores boat (or picked up on a transmission) and come to commandeer the island.
If you want details why I think it is one of them, read part 1 of my theory here:

bare foot jungle people deffinately
The Group who is storming is either Paik or Widmore. The others Breaking Ben out of the Barracks doesn’t seem to be any of a priority to them. Ben has already stated that his people would of came awhile ago if they intended to break him out.
Another group that no one seems to recall is that of the abducted survivors. Jack met them momentarily while tied up at the Hydra. Cindy and the kids seemed to be observing. Either the island had their back and they were protected, or they may have been wild cards.
And one last note: Ben keeps saying that they are the good guys. Well, say thats so, and consider the ramifications. That means that there is a group somewhere on the island that is worse than Ben’s tribe. Just food for thought. +1
Good point,NotSoLost,he did say they would hav already came for him if they wanted him.But i don’t think its the barefoot jungle people, like lost_Dbutz said, these were just the others pretending to be a primitary group.
