But I don’t have internet other than at work, and don’t watch tv except for Lost. Maybe I just missed it, I dunno.
Why are they only showing repeats now? Where are the new episodes? Are they ‘taking a break’ again? If so, how long do we have to wait THIS time?

new episodes return 4 weeks from today. the delay was caused by the strike. i think we missed the first part of your question. please repost it
yeah, we are on a break until april 24th. only 21 days left…
Luv, there is a three week hiatus. They start airing new shows on April 24. I know, I am upset too. :(

I think this wait is very stupid. I guess it is necessary, and what are we gonna do, right? But still … I love LOST but this is getting on my nerves!
Not only is there a three week hiatus because the writer’s strike shutdown production, but this season and remaining seasons will be shorter than the average 22/23 episode seasons we’ve come to expect with seasons 1, 2 and 3. I think they are going to average 15-17 episodes for 4, 5 and 6. That’s roughly 5-6 less episodes per season. :(
Ok- I am not trying to be the witch here… LOL But I think we should be grateful that we are getting the extra 5 episodes for the season. They easily could have just let it go and started season 5 next January/February. That was the original plan due to the strike. We got lucky that it ended in time for them to film these extra episodes. I agree the small hiatus is annoying, however, I would much rather take this little break and get to see more instead of waiting for almost a whole year for a new season.
I didn’t hear about them shortening the last two seasons though…which would suck- but come on guys, let’s be thankful for what do have! :-)
They are cutting the episode numbers down because alot of people (not us) complained that the 3rd season was filled with a lot of useless filler episodes ( we know there is no such thing as filler on this show ) and that that made the season slow down and lose viewers. Also the studio was wanting something like 10 seasons or more and that the creators didn’t know if they wanted to draw it out that long or even if they wanted to be envolved with it that long. Now they know that the end is season seven so they have a definite time line to finish and can tighten up the story telling and get back to getting us to the end with every episode being awesome. As for the break , we are even luckier than THElockeFAN stated. The creators didn’t even want to release the episodes until the strike was over. On the bright side though, they said this season still only being 13 episodes long means that there are going to be more 2hour episodes next season.
Oh yeah akumatat- I totally forgot the creators and whoever almost held out the entire season…now THERE is something I would rant about!
In the grander scheme of things it is really not that long of a wait….
Can I ask a dumb question? Why is this called season 4? I thought the shows we saw in the fall were called season3 and these are more shows of the same season?
no scooter- the last season (season 3) ended at the end May, 2007. The new season 4 started this past January. :-)
