Please help me with this one guys!
Trying to catch up on the Lost storyline, I noticed something in the season 2 episode “What Kate Did” that gave me chills. Right after Kate kills her father, she visits her mother at the diner. As Kate is walking in, you can see a man seated at the bar with a beard and a baseball cap on in the background. You can see him again when the camera pans out a little bit, he is taking a bite of his pie. Outside the window, just behind where Kate is sitting, you can see an older model beige Jeep parked there. When Kate’s mother is repeatedly asking her what she did, you can see him again. When Kate is leaving, you can see this man again, looking out of the corner of his eye and then reaching for his beer to take a sip. I have watched this scene 6 times and I am convinced this man is Jack. The mannerisms first caught my eye, then the shape of his face, and then about the third time watching it, I saw that Jeep (at least I think it was a Jeep, sure as heck looks like the truck Jack was driving in Through the Looking Glass. If Jack is in Kate’s past, I’m sure he would have remembered that interlude between Kate and her mother. Thoughts????

Kates mom served Sawyer in her diner in The Long Con,though.
i just watched it cause i was very intrigued. there is definitely a jeep in the parking lot; you can clearly see the jeep logo (which is just the words jeep). however, i don’t think that man is jack. a.) its the wrong beard to that of in TTLG; not bushy enough. b.) his hair is too long c.) that guy looks way to skinny, body type wise. and d.) you made the point that he looks over when she leaves. while true, if you watch, the older couple next to beardy also look. i mean her mom is yelling “kathryn! what did you do?!?” so it makes sense to look.
i like your keen eye though. its a nice try.
I agree with hellomike on your keen eye Tiffany, and it would be cool if it was Jack as it would imply a timeloop. +1 for obs

just for the record Jack drives a Bronco. Ford. 60’s. 66 maybe.
Do yourself a favor and go outside for some good old fashioned fresh air. Talk to people. Play with your dog. Exercise. Quit watching this programme frame by frame and looking for anomalies.

WTF, he likely would have stopped period if people had ignored what he was doing instead of going around announcing his presence everywhere. But you know what? There’s something suspicious about this whole thing and I’ve got a good idea where it started. When I find out, I’ll be sure to let you know…..not.

Ozz, I read some trollposts past today, and read an awful one directed at you. That poster was disgusting and in comparison I have gotten off lightly.
But I will never understand why you decided that the guys who were reacting were worse than the guys that were baiting.
WTF, it would be nice if you could interpret something correctly. That old post you refer to was a direct result of my having behaved like you. I’ve never said that behavior such as that has excuses for it, and still don’t.
What I ‘ve actually been talking about is “trolls” in general. Poor treatment of people can result in grudges, which then sometimes carries over in “trollish” behavior. And when the wrong person gets crossed, well you never know in advance who that might be, now do you?
Once someone does cross the line into offensive or stalking, you can fight until you have a heart attack, but all you’re doing is giving him what he wanted… more fighting.
And Chuck, I don’t recall mentioning your name at all. Is there something I SHOULD be blaming you for that you haven’t told me about? But to answer your question, anything I’ve previously blamed you for was just, and if you haven’t done anything to warrant blame, then I don’t blame you. If you want to pick a fight, as it appears you do, we can settle it off the site.

+1 Tiffany. I still think this is a good observation, even though it turns out it is not true. I love it that you pay attention to the background and things going on where your eyes are not naturally directed in a scene. Keep it up and thank you!

WTF, as you well know, there was much which preceded that. What I’m trying to get through to you is that if I had not participated, I would never have ended up a target. Whether or not it was “asked for” is a moot point.
I realize that you are bound and determined to advertise all the dirty laundry on the site for your own bitter enjoyment, to try to prove some “point”. Well, I have a point too.
WTF’s strategy for getting rid of nasty trolls : Follow him around and give him lots of attention. Announce his presence to everyone. Antagonize him with plenty of comebacks, just enough to get him riled, but lame enough he can easily top. Keep going back to the same posts over and over, even long after he’s gone, to see if you can encourage him to come back. Post insulting theories about him, that will get his attention alright.
Do you really want to get rid of guys like that? Because it seems to me you’re doing everything you can to hold onto them. More like the cheerleader and the jock scenario.

I see your point of view Ozz and I admit, I overreacted. I did take the first few of those posts about me on the chin,but the last one sent me over the edge. I just want the guy to leave me alone.
