That picture of ‘the eye’ looks like the guy has a moustache! Where did that come from!? I never seen no ‘tache before, man! This changes everything!

How’s about Tom for the eye with the tash. I think the eye looks very much like Tom’s.

Not sure that is a ‘tache’ could it be the broken glass that Hurley Looked through?

I know a lot of people think it is Locke, because he shows up right after Hurley passes out. But Locke can’t find the cabin right now…Hurley is the last one to see it. But either way, that does not look like Locke’s eye to me…it isn’t wrinkly enough. Locke’s eyes are quite creased, with tan lines on his wrinkles (like when you get a sunburn WHILE you are squinting, so that the creases in your eyes do not get burnt and you look ridiculous). Leave it to a woman to notice something like that. Nonetheless, that is what I think. Has anyone discussed the significance of whoever that may be? Is there any?!

I am a proffesional artist and trained to observe. I am 99% certain it’s John Locke’s eye!

I kind of thought for a while it looked like Minkowsky’s eye, don’t know why but after we met him on the show that is who it looks like to me. Don’t know the significance…

It looks like a moustache to me. Definitely not Locke. It actually looks like Lionel Luther! lol I don’t know who it is. :)

Annie there is another thread about Sci-Fi cross overs, but i’m thinking a Smallville/Lost cross over might just be a bit much. ;)

Definitely not Mikhail and definitely NOT Locke. IMO…

who got credit for that episode that we don’t know or usually see. that’s who the eye belongs to.

Minkowski fits two of the criteria (if it is a moustache)…the moustache and green eye…but I don’t think it looks all that much like him.

If you compare the eyes, you can see that it is not patchy. Cant be. I know what you mean, that face does look familiar. Cant wait to find out who it is.

that really looks like patchy’s jaw line to me too.

did anyone else notice how the eye shot really seems to be someone who is really scared? any chance it was supposed to be a reflection on the glass rather than someone actually looking out the window.

tinywanker - I dont understand. You cant see his jawline on the “eye” picture. What do you mean by comparing the jawlines?

in the first comment on this thread there is a pic where you can see the outline of the jaw of the owner of the eye. that looks like Patchy to me, also that dude looks scared to death.

Thanks, Stitch. I’m still convinced it’s Mikhail or somebody we haven’t been introduced to yet. I am 100% sure however that is NOT Locke’s eye.

tinywanker - I think the glass was broken out of the window, so it couldn’t be a reflection of Hurley. Plus, it does not look like Hurley to me at all. Has anyone given any thought to why we even care? What are the implications of that person…that someone ELSE knows about Jacob (besides Ben, Locke and Hurley)? Who might that be?

According to the producers, the part of Jacob has not been cast so I wouldn’t read that much into the images inside the cabin (although that didn’t stop me a few days ago ;-).

The guy in the rocking chair when Locke visits is the Lost wardrobe manager. The eye? The producers are not saying who that was, but given that it’s not been cast I suspect it’s irrelevant. They are not saying if Jacob will ever be cast, and maybe he never will be seen in full or given an actual identity.

Oh, and the “voice” of Jacob that Locke heard? That was Carlton Cuse.
