Towards the end of season 2 when Michael,Jack,Kate,Sawyer and Hurley are walking throught the jungle to the pier and that bird flys down and makes a sound that could be heard as Hurleys name and Hurley says “Dude, Did that thing say my name”
I just wanted to get your opinions and ideas on if you think it did say Hurleys name and if it has any relation to him or any meaning.Also it seems all the strange animals on the island have a connection to one specific person

Just want to get your ideas and opinions on this and if you think there is any meaning in this idea or the animals that appear on the island are there for a reason.

i just watched that part again so my comment could be more than just a guess, and yeah, i definately sounds like it said “hurley”! it said it twice and it sounded clearer the second time. +1
I dont really buy into this theory but if it is true, Sawyer’s animal would definitely be that tree frog that he spent an entire episode trying to find…oh but wait, didnt he kill it?
yeh i see your point, i thought of the tree frog but i thought it was more of the boar because im sure he was trying to kill it over a number of episodes but also desmond was after the boar so not sure, thanks for comment
I had completely forgot about the bird. Did it look like a knomn bird to any of you. If my memory serves me , it seemed a little big to me. +1 for bringing this up.

I once had a crazy idea that the Hurley-bird was a reincarnation of Libby.
Also, I noticed that there was only one cow. And remember the chicken Locke killed? Locke said it was ‘the last chicken’. How would he know? It might have been the only chicken seeing as how there were only two eggs left in the fridge. And we havn’t seen any more wild boar since Locke killed them too. Maybe animals can’t procreate on the island like humans.

liking idea of libby re-incarnation. The bird was a bit big to be a know 1 , and when you watch it it seems to appear from no where, do you think the bird appeared so that michael shot his gun and realised it wasnt loaded, could be related do you think?????????????
