I’m still pretty new to adding to this site, like I said before, I’ve been reading on this site for JACOB knows how long, and I rather enjoy it. Now, I may not be an OG to the site, but man, am I irritated by the the trolls on here. The main reason I’m irritated is the fact that these trolls obviously watch the show, and search for sites, but then feel the need to poke fun at the real fans of the show. I’m 29 years old, have never played “Magic, the gathering”, “D&D”, or any other cult fave.
I wasn’t even interested in watching LOST at one point, I was to deep into Tony, Paulie, Sil, and the rest of that NJ mob to even pay attention to any other TV programs. But, thanks to my cousin, I realized I was missing probably the best show in the history of TV, or at least the second best, ( or the first, I sure haven’t been on-line looking for Sopranos theories). Bottom line is, this show is one of the RARE appointment viewings that I have, and I can’t wait for season 4.

Amen brother! These Trolls seem to be of a certain age and, for one reason or another, do not have a very good command of the English language. I guess they are trying to be “funny,” but the humour is unintelligent and un-inspired (dumb, basically.) I suppose there will always be Trolls however… sigh … c’est la vie, I guess

Also: I agree, “The Sopranos” rivals Lost as being one of the best shows of all time. (Imagine how Lost would’ve ended up if it had premeired on HBO! I guarantee Sawyer would be using more colorful exploitives than “dang” and “shoot.”)

good observation MB2U. thanks by the way. I think part of their problem with English comes from using their cell phones to access the internet. Maybe their parents will take them away when the bills get too big.

Well.. I hope you will not all hate me for what I am saying here, but.. LIVE WITH IT! There were trolls before, there are trolls today, and there will be trolls tomorrow…
And, honestly, some ‘trollish’ theories are just hilarious (e.g. http://www.lost-theories.com/theories/2007/jul/30/one-losties-actually-dharma-ag/ or http://www.lost-theories.com/theories/2007/jul/27/truth-about-smokey/) and some are not. But people tend to have different kinds of sense of humor. And these theories are more fun than the offensive ones or the ones where the users started to throw insults at each other.

A troll is all of the above, but think of “trolling” as in fishing. They are looking for someone to bite on their comment.

It’s kinda hard not to read them, if you read all the theories on this site you’re going to run into them. I thinks it’s important to remember, even though many of us have a vested interested in this site and the show….try not to take it so seriously. I think the majority of the trolls are young padawans dying for attention.
themore people respond to them and create posts about them the more they are likely do it, if people ignore and dont post and they get no comments they will stop

great idea Dharmaspy, the only problem is that the idiots have created multiple usernames and talk to themselves in their own crappy theories. And you’re right we should just flag and move along. I’ll try, but sometimes I just can’t resist.

One last thing before I go. Trolls are just pathetic. But then getting worked up about them is a bit daft. I say hear hear to all those who recommended ignoring the numpties.
