I’m thinking maybe the electromagnetic blast had more to do with all this than we think. Not only did it crash the plane, but it also could have split reality into different dimensions or realities (possible outcomes of the situation). I am thinking of three current realities.
Three Realities:
The island where Jack, the other survivors, the OTHERS, and whoever else ends up there.
Naomi spoke of Flight 815 being found with all the passengers dead and accounted for. This may be a lie, since her company (according to Ben) is trying to kill everybody on the island.
Jack is a drunk and an oxycoton addict. He can’t stand being away from the island. How can it be a different reality if he was already on the island instead of a future “flashforward?” Jack told the head of surgery something like- go upstairs and get my father, and if I’m drunker than he is, you can fire me. If Jack’s father isn’t dead, than, i don’t know. Another reality?
