So, where did Ben’s childhood friend go?

I have the funniest feeling that the blonde in the underwater station in “Greatest Hits” is Annie.

definitely a striking resemblance. if so, though, why would ben still be holding on to her carved statues and not to her??

perhaps when he joined the ‘natives’ he sevred contact with her and she was stationed there? or he knew she was there and didn’t mention it to protect her from the gas?

Anyone else think it is odd that two women are in the “looking glass” hatch…….not men…..with the scarce availability of women for the fertility “goal” ….why would they be exiled basically from the others? If that was ANnie…..and I think it may be……..Ben may not know she is alive……ANnie and this girl may have been down there since the “Purge” with no means to contact the other stations……..and they may still think DI is still active…….also why a female (Naomi) to come to the rescue on the island? Odd again…..soemhting is amist…..

At first I thought the blonde woman in the station looked a little young for Annie. But looking again… could be her.

Actually, now that I think about this some more, Andre… hiding Annie in the station would be the perfect reason for Ben to lie to everyone and tell them that the place is flooded.

Their names were Greta and Bonnie… Not Annie! And I think it would be too soon to kill Annie if she was indeed the blond woman… that’s if she is still alive. The way Ben was looking at the doll she gave him leads me to believe she is no longer alive.. I believe she survived the purge but maybe she died during pregnancy and the baby was probably Ben’s. Remember what Ben told Locke right before shooting him… He said: “I was ONE of the people smart enough not to end up in that ditch” So we can safely assume he isn’t the only dharma survivor. We will find out what happened to Annie in future episodes I have no doubt about that.

Ohh yeah.. and Mikhail knew who they were so Ben cannot be hiding them so that the others wouldn’t know about them. And that also debunks a theory I read elsewhere that they were both women that survived their pregnancies but were hidden from the others by Ben so they would still believe that having children is impossible. If that were the case, then Mikhail would have said something like “I thought you were both dead” and not something like “I thought you were on assignment in Canada”
