First I will say that I dont think Locke will die. If he does it will piss off alot of lost fans.

But anyway, if Locke does die I think that Richard will get rid of Ben. Richard is very important and he does not beleive in Ben anymore. Ben is finished whether Locke survives or not. Ben has never let any of the others visit Jacob (Not that we know of anyway). I Think Ben has trapped Jacob and has tortured him for a very long time. Ben has used the powers of Jacob for his own purposes. Jacob is being tortured and confined by Ben. I dont even think that Ben has ever spoken to Jacob, but learned about his powers somehow and took advantage. He seemed to put on a real show to me when he was in front of that chair, and he was extremely interested in what Jacob said to Locke. That house where Jacob was seemed like it was designed to keep Jacob trapped. The powder surrounding the house..and what where those glass jars???? Seems like some form of witchcraft that is used to trap a spirit or entity. If Locke dies Jacob will be doomed, therefore I dont think Locke will die. Locke is special because he has the ability to heal and Jacob or whatever was in that house beleives in him more than Ben. If Locke dies, lost fans will be pissed, including myself.
