Is Jacob the smoke? Did Ben just imagin his mother or was it jacob?

I admit I am not the first one to think this and is is quite obious from last nights episode and all the posts on it but I have definately been thinking this since we saw Yemi alive well and talking on the island to his brother Eko. I think the smoke pretends to be people…for what reason I have no idea. It takes some and leaves others alone…although most of the time it kills or dose the second time it sees them…aka Mr. Eko, may his charecter live in peace.

first of all I have to say who all I think the smoke has impersonated. 1.)Yemi (already covered) 2.)Dave 3.)Anna Lucia 4.)Walt 5.)Cooper (Locks dad) 6.)Emily Linus

I do not think the the moster was Jack’s fater Christian Shephard because I think he is actually stilla live, for more on that check my other theory’s.

Ok so we all know the Yemi is dead and we know the body is real because of the necklace that Mr.Eko was able to take and keep. there is no question as to weather the plane was there or not because it was and it killed Boone. When we see Yemi though he is wlking away almost beckoning Eko to follow, a trait of the ghosts we see on the island all the time. we know that the smoke shows up soon after an apperiance and dissipearance of Yemi.

Dave, well he’s poor Hurlys imaginary friend that Hurly made up and found out was unreal when he was in the mental institution. Dave comes back….I don’t think that Hurly is really seeing him, although I have no evidence or this. Notice though how he wants Hurly to jump off the cliff to make everything better…and how he wants Hugo to follow him a bunch. Hmmmm…..

I don’t really remember this scene but I think after Anna Lucia dies Sawyer see her and she wants him to follow her…I can’t remember though who it was and if she said anything or what happened after wards…I should whatch this episode again shouldn’t I huh?

It was brought to my attention, and mind me I don’t remember who, but When Shannon was seeing Walt and Sayid as wel Walk may have been Mr. Smokey…I cannot take credit for this theory but it dose make a whole lot of since and I thought it should be brought to you attention.

Let’s just face it…something was not right with the way Locks dad was acting….yeah sure he is a crooked man but I really don’t think that was him…and man he was obnoxious..maybe that’s how locke viewed him and Smokie was just going off of his memories. (F.Y.I. remember the flashes we saw in the smoke durrinf eko’s encounter..play them in slow motion and you see eko’s memories) This throry is also not mine….but is kind of what I was thinking as well.

And finnaly Mrs. Emily Linus herself….we saw her on May 9th’s episode…I don’t know the name of it….and I new it had to be the smoke…but I wondered why it didn’t want to hurt him or why it didn’t want him to follow it yet. Then I relaized that Jacob only talks to ben…maybe even the hostiles….and that maybe that was the plan, to get ben out of the Initiative and talk to Richard…who obiously don’t age…maybe that was their plan. If jacob is the smoke or controls it then it would make perfect since as to why she wouldn’t want to hurt him or want him to follow her yet.
