Do you all remember when Walt was living with his mum and her partner? well Walt killed a bird because he was being ignored yes?
Due to this, i am forced to believe that Walt accidently killed his mum. ( Locke even said that Walt was special and he can do anything he puts his mind to, that is why he could throw the knives and always hit the centre. ) ok, so, after Walts mum died, the man that was meant to be adopting him suddenly wants rid of him and gives him back to micheal, coincidence? i think not, he knew something, but we never actually found that much out about Walt and now he is gone, although he will come back, he has to…we need to know more about him.
i am sorry if you dont understand this one either
But would Walt really want his mother dead? And if he could do anything he wants to, why was Locke not prevented in opening the hatch, an event Walt clearly did not want to happen?
It just goes to show how much Power Walt actually has, something similar to that of Desmonds…he can probally see chunks or bites of what is to come, but cannot change it, only warn that something bad will happen, maybe he didnt want it opened because he knew that Desmond would turn the key and it would implode?
True, or maybe that the Others would eventually infiltrate the hatch (Ben) and cause the events that would lead to the deaths of both Anna Lucia and Libby
that was Micheal who killed them though because he wanted to get his son back, so he let Ben go. Remember the coloured woman who told him to do it and to bring Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Hurley to them.
Yes i know but what im saying is that Walt may have foreseen the terrible events in the hatch, that is why he was desperate for Locke not to open it, irrespective of whole killed who, (Bea Klugh was the woman you mention).
Thank you lol, and yeah I guess you are right, maybe he did foresee the whole events inside of the hatch, and do you think that if the hatch wasnt opened, micheal and walt would never have left, and Ben and Juliet wouldnt of been able to spy on them with the other station (the monitoring one)
Lol i think if the hatch wasnt opened, ABC may have not commissioned a 3rd season! Good points Doyle
true, there would be NO storyline, the Others would still have information on them, as the Russian used his station to rretrive it all…its all kinda mirky isnt it?
If Walts power is anything like Desmonds, then likely he can’t will things when he wants to just like Desmond can’t see the future when he wants to.
That’s not to say that neither of them could cultivate their powers until they could use them at will but from what I recall Walts powers seem to be driven from his ID. Deep and powerful feelings that he may or may not be fully conscious of.
He might not even be as powerful as he seems. His appearances could of been smokey playing games. And the typing on the computer to Michael could have been Ben typing to (and watching) Michael from the pearl station to lead him into a trap. I have no doubt that Walt has some powers but things are not always as they seem in Lost so I would expect some of what we have been lead to think about Walt are likely red herrings.
