Well, I would like to clear one thing up, and afterwards, you will all be smacking your heads and saying “oh yeah” so here it goes:
Right, you all say the Sonic fence was turned off and the Russian was dead yes? well that is false, the Russian did die! yes, dead haha xD anyway, the fence must of been on because we saw him die, also you will be saying “yea but we saw julliet run through it” well duh! how else was the others gonna run off from their village without dying them selves? they deactivated the fence them selves so they could leave and couldnt turn it back on whilst on the other side of it. Now, one more thing, the Russian is alive :O well i am taking this from anotther theory, Smokie must take on peoples forms and must of been a fake that saved Naomi

that doesnt make any sense
yeah doesn’t make sense. Mikhael just faked his death so he could be left alone. didn’t he just bleed from the ear and foam at the mouth, could have been fake. they didn’t really take a pulse did they? i think they checked him real fast, but not throughly.
You can tell that he is breathing in the scene where Kate rolls him over after his brain strain, if it was that.

I think Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have mentioned before that the sonic fences power may have been turned on a low setting, hence Mikhail suffered injuries yet didnt die, hope this helps!
