Wow this is really not very good. I’m expecting many - figures

Please be aware this is a tongue in cheek theory and is not meant to be to serious just a wander my brain had that I thought I’d share.
The black and white stones that Jack takes from Adam and Eves body I think are very Important to the end line of the show. I have pondered for along time who Adam and Eve might be and have always thought it to obvious to be Jack and Kate but I am beginning to reconsider. Me being me and my brain only being partially functional I allowed my mind to wander over a few what if’s just thought I’d post them and let you all see.
My Theory is that, Jack takes the stones found on Adam and Eve and takes them with him when he is rescued
Once Jack returns to the mainland he realizes what mistakes he made and his involvement in the destruction of the essence of the island and we see him clearly wanting to go back to the island to fix things.
The stones he took from the island somehow (this isn’t brilliantly thought out) get him back to the island or assist him in finding the location. He convinces Kate to go back with him to rectify their mistakes.
Only this time when they get there the island is totally empty no hatch, no others, nothing just a island, they have somehow managed to get to the island before any of the events that are to come happen.
After a few years surviving alone Kate and Jack have a child on the island (Jacob) and Jack brings Jacob up to protect the island at all costs. Jacob being the first born to the island is born gifted in more powerful ways than seen so far and is capable controlling events on the island.
Jack and Kate now reaching old age live in the cave. They sit talking about the stones when Kate withers and dies. Jack heartbroken by the loss of Kate gives up hope and a few days later dies. Jacob angry at the death of his parents makes wills the island to ensure that no one who is born to the island will ever age past adulthood and never die. After several years of loneliness Jacob Starts to will people to the island .
Enter the Black Rock :- aboard the black rock are many survivors including a 2 pregnant ladies carrying (Michail and Richard).
Initially Jacob aids the survivors on the island to survive and they start to build a civilization (The hostiles). Once the Hostiles realize that Jacob controls the island, scared by his power they try to control him, so they capture and hold in in a wooden shack surrounded by some sort of powder that Jacob cannot pass (????? ok ok shady I know. This is remember just a ramble) At this point in anger Jacob wills the island to no longer allow childbirth.
Knowing what riches the island would bring, one person (Hanso) leaves the island. and informs certain members of his family about the island
Enter the Dharma Institute. Our Story Begins
I don’t know. I thought it was interesting.
Thanks Prof. My head was a mess I had to release.
Tongue in Cheek or not I kind of like it.
Whilst on the subject aren’t the stones seen in Penny and Desmond’s flat in ‘Flashes Before Your Eyes’ so my money is on them to be Adam and Eve. How it will play out though I have no idea.
…being a writer, some of the best ideas for novels start this way… a stream of consciousness evolves into connected thougths and more characters and then… a story begins to form. toss in some conflict and all of a sudden the juices start flowing…
sleepz: it’s a neat concept. sad, but interesting…and ironically, the essence of which [Jack & Kate returning to where they were at their best] I hope comes to fruition. I’m a romantic at heart.
Great thanks Kat I’ll take you up on that…
Loads of positive feedback but only +1 From Prof I’m gutted, my poor little brain worked double time for this
That’s right, dude, I got your back!
Cheers guys, Appreciate the support. I had had another wondering regarding Desmond but I don’t wanna spoil anyone. Lets just say there is a major reason
Have I said to much ????
Well, I agree with your third point for sure… and I suppose the first two can kind of follow from that.
@sleepz: sounds like its worthy of a separate theory which I would like to read.
“Turning the key is the only important thing you’ll ever do in your life Desmond” - creepy jewelry store lady.
sleepz, go to your hatch, pop a batch of Dharma popcorn and let loose a stream of consciousness and tell me she’s wrong about Des! Odysseus needeth returneth home to his beloved Penelope.
She is so wrong about Desmond.
But that’s just my opinion. I, too, would like to hear what sleepz has to say after being strung-out on Dharma popcorn.
Me too! A bunch of romantics high on popcorn!
I liked this sleepz; more brain wanderings please.
the problem that I have with this theory is if Kate and Jack went back to the island and after a few years Kate gets pegnant wouldnt she die before or during giving birth like all the other women. Or since they got there before any of the other things have happened has the island lost all of its mysterious properties. Also wouldnt jack tell jacob about his ordeal and maybe give him some way to make sure jack doesnt get the losties rescued. Finally i just feel that jacob “willing” people never to get old and to bring people to the island is a bit unreal, but then again alot of things on the show are bizzare. Overall though nice thoughts, very interesting.
A bit of a stretch, but nothing that can be undeniably disproved….. so far :-)
Rufus no Kate gave birth before Jacob willed the island to prevent childbirth
Guys I have a tangled web of wanderings in my head i will post more regarding Desmond and Charlie when i get the chance but i can interconnect just about everyone. You have given me the confidence to be less factual with my posts, seriously guys you have opened up the floodgates of my daydreaming mind.
It’s the popcorn. It’s Dharmalicious.
I definiely like this idea…nice:)
Heehee, Jacks got stones… ;-)
sleepz,
I know this is a late post to your theory, but I’ve been giving it some thought. I absolutely believe that either Jack and Kate have been on the island before, or they will go back in the future. I’ve also felt connected to the idea that Adam and Eve may “somehow” be Jack and Kate. The only problem I have is with Jacob. I just don’t understand the Jacob you see. If he was on the island when the Black Rock arrived, wouldn’t he be at least 150 yrs. old? You said he willed others not to age, or at least those born on the island; ie. Richard and Mikhail, but did he will himself not to age or die? And why would someone with his great powers be trapped in a log cabin? I’m sorry, I just can’t get into Jacob as a viable character - especially an invisible viable character! But that’s just me.
Thank you for a very interesting post.
sleepz: One other thing,
Regarding your third point above on Desmond, you said: [Jacob] ” Needed Desmond to turn the key (by pressing the buttons he wasn’t saving the world but keeping the island inhabitants safe from Jacob.”)
Are you saying Jacob needed Desmond to keep the island inhabitants safe from Jacob? Do you mean safe from Ben?
Alice - comment 1 - Jacob was born to the island so obviously he would not age. This has been one of Jacobs many mistakes - Summoning the black rock was also Mistake, mistakes based on loneliness and Jacobs own insecurities.
Dharma created the button to somehow keep Jacob from using his power over the island and most importantly prevent him from willing things to the island. Desmond was brought in because Jacob could see that at some point he would stop pressing the button and turn the key. Which now allows Jacob to then summon things to the island enter naomi and the ship, We see the time when Dessy boy didn’t press the button 815 came plummeted onto the island.
Alice Remember that the hostiles are holding Jacob, he Is pretty pissed at Ben………………………….. I think that Michal and Richard possibly think that Jacob is free. Dharma wanted Jacob for themselves and believed they could brainwash him into being their ‘tool’ and fought with the hostiles for control of Jacob. At no point since the death of his parents (Parent Issues) has Jacob been treated like a person, Greed, Power, Control, Drive every one else on the island to take form him what they need
tongue-in-cheek or not, it works for me. Very interesting…
MY favourite part was ‘Kate withers and dies’ haha
I LIKE THE IDEA. +1.
We’re definately on the same page here.
I also think that Jacob is unable to leave his little shack, maybe the substance locke picked up keeps him inside his shack?
What i think will happen is the freighter everyone knows will be dharma’s :P is going to do whatever it takes to get jacob back.
Frost View Part 2 for more information
I don’t know if I buy the whole thing, but it was such a good story and soooo romantic, I gave it a +. Give us some more theories to ponder. I’m getting sick of time travel and electromagnetics!!! Thanks for the theory, I’m off to ponder Jack, Kate and baby Jacob…..
