ok
when hurley’s car breaks down on his way to the airport u see his car things say: 42 km 23c 16kph speed. then the kph speed goes to 15. then it goes to 8. then 4. 4 8 15 16 23 42. all of the numbers are here. then when the lady at the counter is checking hurleys ticket thing if u look on the computer u observe: theres the number 14:15. 15 being one of the numbers. and there is 10:42 also being one of the numbers. and 14-10=4. hurley offers the man in the motorized scooter 1600 bucks for his scooter. 16 is a number. the team of people have the numbers on their back. a family of 4 is having their picture taken. 4 bein a number. he sees a sign that says gates 14 through 23. 23 is a number. and his gate IS number 23. there are 4 sections of pamphlets. there are 4 seats in a section in the waiting area. the numbers were following him and he had quite a hard time getting on. shouldnt the numbers be helping him to reach the island? no because he knows about them. very few do. sam toomey. the guy with hurley in the place and hurley. so the island wants hurley away man. duuude. i mean hurley almost caused john to enter the wrong code in the swan. he saw the numbers on the hatch brotha. the hurley bird in the dark territory said his name because……unlike everyone else on board oceanic flight 815…he was not supposed to be on that plane. maybe the others taking him ad something to do with it. i also think that the island wont hurt him or anyone near him and that is why the others requested michael bring him…to protect the losties on their trek to the other side of the island. hurley is special. smokey harnased hurleys memories maybe the hurley bird did it cus the monster couldnt get to him. they used to dave to try to make hurley jump off the cliff…and kill himself. they tried to set him up to kill himself cus smokey cant just kill him like he killed eko. thats why libby accidently walked in when michael was on a shooting tangent. im sure something the island did made libby walk into that room and get shot. but still to no avail did hurley die. the island gave vincent the keys to the van. but hurley did not die. eventually hes guna have to die once the island comes up with some elaborate plan to kill him. hes getting lucky. i think since he played the numbers in the lottery he got good luck on the island but it was just the fact that he knew the numbers…the island made everything around him…fall to pieces in his life. guess the island can conjure up meteorites 2…or astroids either one.
yeah man good theory.
Hey do u want to do a competition to see who can get the lowest rating
I think most of it is really plausible. I agree that the ‘Dark forces’ are playing with the key charecters. I think Eko was killed simply because he was trying to put Lock on the right direction and to keep pressing the button. There is something dark in the island that is trying to get out. And Jacob might have something to do with that. Also I see Lock as an tricky character sort of a Anakin Skywalker which has the potential to become a Darth Vather.
I think Hurley was meant to be in the Island and I agree that he might being helped by the good forces on the Island.
Nice post
Again Steve a good theory, I don’t really agree with you for so many reasons. But its nice to see your putting great effort into them. +1
Do me a favor and don’t take Stickman up on his offer. Its a dumb idea thats gonna piss people off
I Like this idea, it also plays into the comment the makers made about the Island being thought of as a character, perhaps a character that is not pleased that Dharma have cut into it ,to build hatches, and ultimately being tested and experimented on!
Steve, I agree with you, the incredible repeating and blatant overkill of their use is meant to be a warning to him. The scenes are choppy, its chaotic, will he make it? we don’t know. you might even find yourself rooting for the guy. come on, dude, you can make it!
And yet, when he finally makes it on the plane, everything ssssslllloooowwwwssss down into slow motion and he gives Walt the thumbs up sign. I found that incredibly interesting. It was almost like Hurley was reporting for duty - where Walt was the boss.
Anyone else see the irony in that?
Oh Lord, the numbers guy again. Give it up already. Yes the numbers are friggin everywhere. Lets see. Hurley 8 too much. He seems to 4 get to diet. He has gained 42 pounds since he arrived. He says “dude” about 15 or 16 times each episode, and he has an IQ of around 23. Amazing, truly amazing!
I guess not…
Sorry Stip, I guess I don’t see it that way. I just think Hurley was trying to be nice to Walt when he noticed Walt looking at him. We’ll see someday if there was more to it…
