this is what i think.

ok…its so hard to tell with this show. i dont thin that the coffin is an integral part of the story. i believe that it is michael. when michael and walt get back to LA walt michael decides to tell walt about murdering ana lucia and libby. he begins to feel horrible about what he does…and kills himself. although when he returns he changes his name to jonathan lantham to conceal his identity if the other losties get back to the mainland and try to find him. this will resolve the coffin mystery and what happened to michael and walt. now what i believe is that desmond just never shows back up to penny. so then penny threatens her father who ran the race er w/e and she made him try to find desmond. so widmore gets a search party and crap in order and penny even gets her couple of guys together and sends them out on a boat but she sends it in the wrong place. as we saw she sent it to a very snowy place. im assuming she just had the men go to the land and they found out that there was obviously nothing there. in the meantime widmore told naomi to go find this island and that she was being recruited by penelopy widmore. he didnt really want to have much to do with the whole situation. so when charlie speaks to penny she gets very confused cus she dusnt talk to her father much. fraiter? naomi? who? what? desmond??!?!?! wow allright. i believe that we will see a rescue chpper comin in but then we’ll c it explode midflight and we’ll realize. woah looks like they cant get off this island like that. the phone will run out of juice making any contact impossible now. basically putting out losties bak to square one. i think everything that widmore is trying to do and everything will not work at this point. john blew up the flame and mikhai floodded part of the looking glass. and the fone is dead. jsck is guna get pissed as he did when locke lied about boone bak in s1. he will go to track down john. sawyer will step in and say he’ll go. we’ll c that john has formed a relationship with jacob and sawyer will be killed off. itl be revealed that jacob created the island. and that there were two people who were here. the builders of the ruins and the temple. and that jacob told this mand and woman to stay away from a certain part of the island but the two people disobeyed making the island a flawed place and the two immortal people died. adam and ever reference. then the battle of light and dark began. with this flaw the smoke monster was created. jacob has then been battling the smoke monster and when the smoke monster sometimes prevails it can come and kill people and make pregnancies not work. john was the key. he can now help jacob ddefeat smokey. it wasnt ever the island. jsut jacob and smokey. when one side struck a blow to the other then one side could do some good….or bad. like healing john or rose. helping claire. or was that ethan er juliet? dunno. the island is basically normal. its just that jacob put it in a spot that is so odd that it was almost impossible to find. i think it was at once invisible but not now. but jacob is somewhat invisible still. ceot he allows john to see him. dharma was just an organization that came acob told ben to wipe them out. he didnt want them telling others about the isalnd. jacob did begin to trust the others though. and he worked through ben for a while. and then when jacob says help me its not completely a: help u need to help now or everything is going to die!!!! its just a hey u can help me john. cmon man. so soon smokey will die. at the last moment jack and kate will leave…but everyone else will be bound to the island forever. jack wants to go back. but with the mix of alchohaul and pills………he doesnt realize…even tho ke knows……that there is now no way to get back since the island is once again invisible. its back to how it should be. something in the looking glass may be able to get desmond back but thats just a side note. anyways i think itl play out like this. no time travel needed. it was just the power of jacob or smokey playin with des. he ddnt time travel. after all we must realize that this is a sci-fi show people ok? so it could turn out like this. haven tu noticed all the religious references? and i also think that the producers said adam and eve wud be an integral part of the story. if this happened…..yes i guess thye would be. they could have an adam and eve central episode showing when the island was perfect.and the button……was just a bomb i guess. ntuhin special rlly. i guess lol. as for the black rock and des’ boat. maybe just when jacob and desmond let there guard down and let people enter. or just rarely the fate happens………..
