Walt’s aging is pretty much irrelevant, the producers are good but not good enough to actually predict when a kid is going to hit puberty and write it into the show to say he’s aged to support some time lapse theory.
Just check out all the kids in Harry Potter from episode 2-3. That’s a year in the making and that’s all it takes.
This doesn’t debunk any time lapse theory but let’s not use Walt’s “aging” to support such theories.

I agree as well. And it’s a reminder that not everything in the show is significant. Sometimes the writers may make a mistake (though hopefully only rarely), and sometimes there may be simple continuity mistakes (which happens on every show) that are of no significance.
