I’m going to get straight to the point.

God doesn’t love Jacob. That’s why Jacob made it invisable to Him, or He just chooses not to look at it.

So, anyway, I think that this would explain a lot of things. - Richard’s immortality (Maybe he sold his soul?) - Miracles (Locke, Rose, Juliet’s sister) - Smokey (hellhound? Is that even possible?) - Adam and Eve (doesn’t explain them, but keeps with the whole Biblical theme) - Ben being a “chosen one” (prophet) - Locke being a “chosen one” ( prophet) - Temple (!) (hostiles worship Jacob, maybe?)

And do we know how many toes Richard has?

Maybe the Others are a cult. But maybe Jacob wants to be redeemed (hence Ben falling out of favor with him, and his telling Locke to “help him”)

People have said countless times that Lost is about redemtion. Maybe Jacob is ready to recover.

Or maybe Jacob likes to play God by judging them, like with Eko and the pilot.

Oh! (wow, I’m getting carried away) I was just inspired by the people who were thinking that Locke was getting sucked into the Temple (“Stop! You’ll blow up the Temple”!)

Maybe he was being pulled into the Temple. Or something.
