Summary (from Wikipedia)

Where to begin? Soooo much happened! Please check www.lostpedia.com for all the details but, in brief:

The Oceanic 6 escape from the island - with Frank and Desmond - in the helicopter. The ‘copter runs out of fuel, though, and they have to ditch in the ocean. Fortunately they had time to dispatch a life raft and they all make it safely aboard the raft. Night falls and they see the lights from a boat. Which boat? The “Searcher”, PENNY WIDMORE’S boat!!! Penny’s boat transports them 3,000 miles to the area of the Sunda trench where they are “rescued” by native fishermen (as previously explained in their press conference.)

Meanwhile, all the mercenaries are killed on the island. Just as suspected, the device on Keamy’s arm was a trigger for the explosives on the freighter. When his pulse stopped they exploded. The O6, Desmond and Frank escaped before the explosion but it doesn’t look like anyone else on the freighter, i.e., Jin and Michael, did.

Ben and Locke enter the Orchid station. Dharma WAS experimenting with time travel but Ben appears to have deliberately sabotaged the “vault”, the chamber where the time travel took place. Ben takes his leave of Locke — only one person can move the island and he can never return to the island. Ben tells Locke how to find the rest of the others and cedes his leadership of the others to Locke. Then Ben puts on a parka and travels through a short tunnel behind the vault chamber. The tunnel leads to a vertical shaft with a ladder. Ben falls and injures his right arm going down the ladder to a mysterious chamber shrouded in ice. There in the chamber is a wheel - similar to a ships wheel - that he is slowly, with a struggle, able to move. As he did, the chamber filled with light while above, on the surface, the island became enveloped in light.

On the helicopter the O6, Desmond and Frank see the island become encased in light then — Bloop! — the light disappears and so does the island.

This episode features several interesting flash forwards but we can all finally rest knowing the identity of the man in the coffin: Jeremy Benthem is none other than John Locke.
